Harbor Sunset Coastal Cottage is a lovely one level cottage conveniently located in the heart of beautiful Brookings, Oregon on the north bank of the Chetco River.
What makes this property really special are the views that span from the Chetco River Bridge on out to the beach. The private north jetty beach is just a few minutes walk, downtown Brookings is also a short walk. Walking just a bit further will take you to a local favorite; the amazing, breathtakingly gorgeous Chetco Point! All other local attractions are just a short drive or bike ride away. That is what makes Brookings such a great place to visit and live. Any day of the year can be a blue sky beautiful day with temperatures in the 60's here in Brookings.
Spectacular river and harbor views! Watch the harbor activity directly across the river with ocean views to the west. Comforting 2 bedroom/2 bath cottage home with a 3rd bedroom serving as a sitting room for the master suite. This home is 1500 sq ft with vaulted ceilings, fireplace, open living area plus a breakfast nook, all overlooking the river.
Our living room is warm and inviting with a large fireplace and lots of firewood, TV/DVD and wonderful windows overlooking the harbor. Unwind, visit and enjoy your "home away from home".
There is a deck that is all about relaxing. Dinner, lunch or breakfast al fresco is a certain enjoyment on the deck. The deck is surrounded by native grasses and shrubs and overlooks the river and is furnished with comfy chairs, tables, a chaise lounge and a gas grill.
Watch the commercial fishing boats coming in to the harbor to unload the best crab on the Oregon Coast, watch the sea lions play or the pelicans fly and dive up and down the river. Awesome sight!!
