  • We stayed her in August 2009. The views from the house are spectacular we loved eating breakfast on the patio looking out over the rainforest and watching the birds fly over. The house is about 10 minutes from town so is very peaceful but close enough to find places to eat. The house and pool were cleaned daily. While we were there they replaced the hot water heater but it only worked one day. The air conditioning worked great. The whole family enjoyed our visit here.

  • I stayed here in August 2009. The house is great, about a 10 minute drive outside of 'downtown' San Ignacio. The house is perfect; it has 3 double beds and two comfortable houses. It is very peaceful at night. The pool and house are cleaned daily by an on-site caretaker of the property. The caretaker was awesome and helped us find our way around town and helped us out of a bind when our car rental broke down. There is plenty of wildlife around and chirping birds in the morning. Some geckos and frogs do get inside the house at night, but did not bother us much. The only bad thing I can say is that the hot water heater was broken when we were there and there was no washer and dryer as specified in the add. Never met the owner but she was a pleasure to deal wtih via email and answered all emails promptly. Would recommend for those wishing to get a great place to stay in a quiet country atmosphere.
