We spent a week at the Beach House on Seal Rock Drive. It was wonderful. The owner is very accomodating. The flat is charming, comfortable and very clean. There is a garage although we selected to park our oversized SUV on the street and had no problem with parking in front of the unit. The location is priceless, near the ocean and Cliff House. We would definitely return.

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

We had a wonderful week in San Francisco! It was our last "spring break" with our high school senior. The flat was as represented--very pleasing, spacious and very clean. Our days were so very busy, and it was always wonderful to return to the apartment. We always felt very safe and comfortable. We rented a car---what a luxury to pull into a garage! Every night I was so glad that we were not anywhere else. It was easy to plan the next day having internet access. Denise was great to work with, answering any questions promptly and had lots of information in the flat. Best of all we loved being near the Sutro Baths, the coastal trails and Ocean Beach. This is a fabulous choice---we'll be back!

Excellent location, fantastic amenities (covered parking, wash/dryer, dishwasher, all modern appliances,). Can't say enough about this great flat. The photos represent exactly the various rooms, etc. I'd recommend this to anyone who'd like to experience living as a San Franciscan. A block away from bus line that can take you to Union Square in 20 minutes. The park nearby offers a great walk and a view of the GGBridge. Will use again for sure.

My wife and 2 daughters spent a magical month in this flat and will never forget it. I had to pry my wife out of it. We have stayed in rental flats all over the world and this was by far the best. Very comfortable, close to everything and completely furnished. Our girls biked to Ocean Beach daily. Proximity to hiking trails and coastal parks is wonderful. We used the Geary bus for trips to museums and sights- very convenient and efficient. Great restaurants and shopping on Clement Street just blocks away. Best of all are the owners. They are gracious, friendly and accommodating. We miss our new friends in San Francisco and look forward to our next visit. I can't recommend this flat enough.

My wife and I and our twenty-one year old son spent a long weekend at the flat while visiting our twenty-five year old son who now lives in San Francisco. The flat was perfect: cozy, attractive, well-appointed! A short five minute walk gets you to the historic Cliff House and the beach. Ten more minutes gets you to Safeway. The amazing American Legion art museum is a short five minute drive away; an amazing collection of medieval through impressionist art. We were able to prepare two sizeable dinners for our kids and their friends. Everything we needed was in the kitichen. We did rent a car, and found access to the city easy by way of Geary Street. If you don't rent a car, public transportation is extensive and easily accessed, again on Geary Street. The garage was a luxury, since parking in SF is always challenging. We highly recommend this flat for anyone who wants a quiet location, somewhat out of the hustle and bustle of the city, but still close enough to enjoy it all. Thanks, Denise; we will definitely be back!!

This well decorated vacation rental has surpassed all my expectations. The location of this place was perfectly suited for us. After a long day sightseeing and visiting the attractions around San Fran, it's nice to come back to a secure, quiet, clean, spacious, and well appointed flat. Everything is as described but the pictures don't do it justice. You just have to be there to appreciate how well it looks and feels! I was please to know that there was a garage available to park the rental car... something that not all vacation rentals provide or charge extra for. Other things that I liked was it's proximity to the beach. It's literally a 2 minute walk and it's breathtaking! In the summer, I could see myself spending the entire day there. As for local dining, besides Cliff House and Louie's, on Geary Blvd, there's many choices of cuisine to suit anyone's palette. All in all, this place will not disappoint and is truly a home away from home.

Amazing property!The pictures dont do it justice.Very well maintained and tastefully decorated,not like your normal vacation rental.We all felt like we were staying at someones home.It was perfect for my family of four.Great location that is truly just steps from the waters edge,and in a very quiet neighborhood.Denise,the owner,was a pleasure to work with.I have used VRBO on at least a dozen or so occasions,and would rank this renting experience at the very top of the list.Thanks,Denise!

We really can't recommend this rental enough. The apartment is beautifully decorated - well above the standard you would normally expect from a holiday rental. It's got loads of space and pretty much everthing you'd need, including an excellent range-style cooker, efficient washing machine/dryer and everything you'd need in the kitchen. We moved some of the more breakable crockery out of the way of our twin toddlers' hands... The location is great if you like windswept walks and sunsets. For us, with young kids, having sutro heights park, ocean beach and the coastal path on the doorstep, as well as Golden Gate Park within easy reach was perfect. We survived without a car, making heavy use of the 38 along Geary. As Brits we liked the authentic diner breakfast experience at Louis, you'd need to go a bit further afield for anything a bit classier (dim sum on Geary is great). The owners went out of their way to make our stay easy and comfortable and helped us far beyond the call of duty through at least one near-disaster (lost passports and money - oops). In short then, go and enjoy, you won't be disappointed.

My husband and I spent 4 wonderful days in this authentic, retro apartment steps away from the ocean and attractions like the Sutro Baths and the Legion of Honor. We hiked the trails with spectacular views of the ocean and Golden Gate bridge, lunched at the Cliff House (expensive but worth it) and enjoyed the funky atmosphere of the "Avenues" (about 1 mile away) where our daughter lives. The flat itself is thoughtfully and attractively furnished with quality furniture, linens, china and kitchen equipment. A real plus is off street parking--always an advantage in San Francisco. We didn't use public transportation to access the downtown area but there is a bus stop close by and I think it would be a easy ride downtown. We plan to return as soon as possible.

Nice, clean, well appointed and maintained. Comfy bed! Quiet neighborhood. Close to Cliff House, Sutro Bath ruins and Land's End trail system. Nearby Palace of Legion of Honor. Short walk to Golden Gate Park. Clement Street restaurant row nearby. Property is secure and supervised. We had a very pleasant stay and would return/recommend to friends.

This was a lovely place! We met our long time friends from Chicago who had never been to San Francisco for a 3 day weekend getaway. This place was in a great location for walking the trails along the cliffs and being in the beautiful Presidio.

This flat is comfortable, secure, well maintained, and beautifully decorated and furnished. The location, with Seal Rocks, Ocean Beach, Sutro ruins, the Coastal Trail and public transport all within a short walk, can't be beat. We spent a lot of time walking the Trail, taking in the stunning views. I really enjoyed watching the fog roll through the trees towering above the street as I sat at the dining room table. Denise made it feel like we were housesitting for a good friend.

We really enjoyed our 8 day stay in this wonderful flat. The accommodation was perfect for us and our two teenage children. It was very clean, comfortable,and well appointed. We found the transit system very easy to use and we went most places via bus. The proximity to the beach, the Sutro Ruins, and the Coastal trail allowed us to see and explore many sights that we may not have seen had we stayed downtown. Denise was very helpful and wonderful to work with. This was a great place to spend a holiday!!
