Why the Owner Chose Bend
We first looked into buying a home in Bend several years ago. As we got closer to wanting to spend summers in a cooler climate we started to search for a home. It was clear to us that our 2nd home needed to be in walking distance to Drake Park and Downtown Bend. After months of searching we found our home. It was a cute little Mill house built in the 1940's and all it was missing was a porch. After we committed to adding a porch we found out through our builder that the house was in need of major repair. So down came the house and up came our little dream home still in the most wonderful location. We captured the feeling of Bend and decorated the home with images of nature and filled it with high quality furnishings, linens, cutlery,and many more features that make this more than a vacation rental but a top notch executive style residence. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
The Unique Benefits of this Bungalow
Far and beyond the location of this home can not be beat. Whether you want to walk or bike, once you arrive your just minutes away from all the wonderful activities Bend is known for. Our favorite past time is sitting on our oversized porch people watching as they make there way back and forth to Downtown Bend or the Old Mill District. The backyard is extremely comfortable with extra seating for entertaining. The house is brand new and no expense was spared to reconstruct the feeling of Bend.
