Silver Beach is the newest and one of the most exclusive resorts in the heart of Destin! Directly on the beach with incredible amenities. Two large pools with 2 hot tubs surrounded by a large deck for sun bathing just steps from the beach. Tennis Courts, 24 hour security and covered gated parking reserved for this unit directly in front of the high-speed semi private elevators servicing only three condos per floor.
Separate laundry room with full size washer & dryer. There is a pull-out sleep sofa in the grand room, thus, all total the unit sleeps 6 people very comfortably and privately. Every room has its own TV with remote.
The grand room adjoins the kitchen, breakfast bar, dining room and flows to the deck with high back chairs and table. Lots of open space and seating great for entertaining ! Trey and coffered 9-foot ceilings, & large sliding glass doors.

Amazing unit in Paradise!

We have stayed in many many condos in Destin over 28 years and this is my favorite 2 bedroom by far! We just returned from a 9 night stay in this unit. We loved it so much we added 2 extra nights at the end of the vacation because we just were not ready to come home from this great place yet. The previous review must have had an agenda as we had nothing but a wonderful experience! The beds had hotel Serta pillow top mattresses and I have a bad back. I slept better than I do at home in my Temperpedic bed! The master had a foam memory topper as well. What a restful vacation and the new sofas were also a bonus in this unit. We loved every minute we were there and from the moment I called I was treated as a special guest and every attempt was made to be sure our stay was perfect from ck in to ck out! Don't miss out on a special vacation and give this unit a try. You will not be dissapointed! The outlet mall is always a fun stop and we found new eateries as well. We love Destin!
Recommended for:Sightseeing, romantic getaway, people with disabilities, families with young children, girls getaway, families with teenagers, age 55+.

This was my first time down in Florida during October, and I'm going to say that it was awesome! I went with my boyfriend (who had never been down to the gulf area), and we both had an amazing time. :) The room was great. We did just stay in the master suite, but I did take a couple of naps in the other room. The beds have new mattresses with optional memory foam, and they were very comfortable. The view was absolutely spectacular! Both bedrooms have excellent views. The distance to anything and everything--malls, restaurants, grocery stores, Walmart, bars, putt-putt golf--is literally right down the street within five to ten minutes. Mike was very attentive to our needs (which we had none), and was very understanding with our weird schedule (we came in on a Wednesday and left on a Monday). Also, our COVERED parking space was just an elevator ride from our front door (no traipsing through a huge parking lot or lobby). Needless to say, my boyfriend and I want to come back to the Destin area every year, and we would most definitely use this place again!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, families with teenagers, age 55+.

Silver Beach is a beautiful high rise with a great floor plan, as both bedrooms face the gulf. The location is accurate. This unit was very disappointing as it has not been maintained. There was mold in the master bath shower and ceiling, cheerios and M&M's under the sofa bed, and dust on the ceiling fans and furniture. The dryer took 3 hours to dry a medium load of towels, and several springs on the sofabed were broken. The drain in the sink of the 2nd bathroom was very slow to drain. The master bedroom bed was extremely uncomfortable. It was lumpy and sagging.The maintenance department did not come to rectify any issues as they promised. I have stayed at Silver Beach many times but will not stay in this unit again. We enjoy eating at the Marina Grill, Louisiana Lagniappe, the Donut Hole and Another Broken Egg.
Owner response:We contacted our guests to apologize for their disappointing experience. Bottom line, the living room sofa sleeper and mattresses on all beds were replaced. After speaking with the guesttheir primary concern was the response, or lack of, from our cleaning personnel. These issues were addressed; policies are in place to assure this does not happen again. My personal phone number is on each confirmation and now posted in each of my units in the event my guests are not totally satisfied.
