If you’ve come this far in our listing, you’re probably already familiar with Oceanwalk Condominiums in New Smyrna Beach. If you take a few minutes to read on, I believe that you will make up your mind about our place quickly. If you don’t like what you see, please hit the back button and look at the others – there are plenty to choose from.

Why rent from us? Sunrise...Sunset!

First, the view from the unit is fantastic. The condo is the center unit on the 5th floor of Building 5. There are no other buildings in sight. Awakening in the Master Bedroom, your first sight is an unimpeded view of palms, grasses and other flora that stretch out below you to the horizon. Sunrises light up the carpet as the egrets, herons, bald eagles and other birds start their own morning routines. Sunsets draw your attention upward to the color show that nature puts on each evening – sitting on the screened balcony watching the end of day with a glass of good wine brings on the best of spirits and humor in our group every night. We keep a table and chairs out on the balcony for sunset dinners when the temperature is right. The view is what sold us on this particular unit and it is, without doubt, one of the very best in all of Oceanwalk. The 1700+ square foot layout of our unit can be found on the Oceanwalk website.

Second, we are the second owners of our unit. The previous owner was a single gentleman who collected antiques. The condominium has been very well cared for and gently treated since construction in 2002.

Third, our building association is caring and vigilant about problem solving and flexible in working with owners and with renters. Each building has a slate of people who volunteer their time to maintain the building and grounds. Also, we have a management organization on site that can respond quickly to needs or issues that come up. When and if things don’t go as planned, support is close, quick and courteous.

New Smyrna Beach was selected as one of America’s 100 Best Small Art Towns.

Have a look on Amazon. Local artists offer a wide variety of ceramics, glass arts, jewelry, unique furniture, wood carvings and other creations. Also, some of the best coffee in the world can be had at the Flagler Ave. Coffee and News Cafe (international blends, friendly atmosphere and free wi-fi.) The “Best Burger in the State of Florida” is prepared a few doors up the street and on the beach at Breakers Restaurant. No trip to NSB is complete without a lunch or dinner at JB’s Fish Camp just up the road from our place. Quaint little shops, great dining, friendly service everywhere.

Our Goals as owners:

Our long-range goal is to develop relationships with families, couples and individuals who want to come to New Smyrna Beach every year and stay in our place. We want to reserve our place for those who enjoy it the most, who will care for it and will return for future visits because the living is comfortable and our clients come to love New Smyrna as we do.

We have been coming to NSB for several years with our children who are now university students. We have relatives in the area and we have grown to love New Smyrna. My wife and I always agreed that any inheritance that came our way would go toward a second home for us and our kids as time goes on. This explains how we bought our place at Oceanwalk in June of 2008.

We're glad you're interested. My name is Ted. Both my wife Tina and I are teachers in Connecticut. Our two children are both university students who have grown up regularly going to New Smyrna Beach. For them, our condo is really a second home. We also have other family in central Florida who we visit as often as we can get away.

New Smyrna Beach is really fantastic. We've been coming to NSB for more than 10 years and the pace of life is perfect for our family. We considered buying directly on the water but the atmosphere, the amenities and the friendliness of the locals at Oceanwalk made the difference for us.
