We stayed at the house for a long weekend with our family in the early Fall. Very roomy, clean house with a nice backyard and short walk to a nice beach. Multiple living room areas, kids liked the bunk beds, air conditioners in every room and the suite upstairs was convenient with an adjoining room and crib. Garage has lots of beach gear and scooters. House is on a quiet street perfect for kids to ride bikes. Beach is a short walk perfect for swimming and little kids (small waves). Walk to harbor and short drive to Hyannis center. Definitely recommend staying here.
Owner response:Thank you so much for the lovely review. The house has a lovely living room in the front, a spacious sun room in the back, and a cozy sitting room next to one of the master bedrooms - so there's lots of room for everyone!

This house is very cozy, well equiped, incredibly located. My family and I would go back every summer! The house is not even 5 minutes walking distance from the beach. Its in a very safe and quiet dead-end street. It is also very near the main street in Hyannis, where you can find all kinds of restaurants and stores. The house owners are extremely attentive and available to help out with anything. Thank you!! See you next Summer...
Owner response:Thank you! After a sunny day at the beach, there's nothing better than taking a short (15 min.) walk to a nice restaurant on Main Street or at Hyannis harbor.

Our family of seven had a great time in this house with plenty of space inside and out. The inside common areas had plenty of room for everyone to gather for meals and games. The kitchen was well appointed with everything you might need for virtually any type of meal. The bedrooms good sized with comfortable beds and bedding. We visited in the summertime with temperatures in the 90s. Each of the bedrooms, except the kids room, were air-conditioned. All of the rooms in the house were decorated in a manner that reminded you that you were in Cape Cod. There were lots of board and card games for good family fun. Plenty of books and magazines were on hand for interesting reading. I am now subscribed to the New Yorker magazine! The backyard was spacious and had the outdoor shower that came in handy after the beach trips. The gas BBQ was clean and worked well. There is also a charcoal BBQ. We had our morning coffee and night time meals in the backyard space. The beach is close and the town area is walking distance but it is a haul with small kids if it is hot outside. I recommend doing this walk in the evening. A great house to stay in that is centrally located to just about everything. The information book in the front room has everything you need to know about getting around the cape.
Owner response:Many thanks for writing such a detailed and informative review! We're so glad that your family had a wonderful vacation. It's been a hot summer but the air conditioners keep our house cool on the hottest days (the downstairs ("kids") bedrooms are cooled by the large air conditioner in the adjacent living room). On cooler days, there are great ocean breezes coming through the open windows.

We could not have asked for a more perfect house for our family. It was stocked with beach toys, and all the gear you would need. The house easily accommodates 2 families - and was just perfect. Huge back yard, quick walk to the beach and close to main St. We'll definitely be back again.
Owner response:Many thanks for the kind review! Our only goal is that our tenants have a wonderful and comfortable vacation.

I stayed in this home in September with my mother, my sister and her 3 year old daughter. We found it to be very centrally located on the Cape for all the other places we wanted to visit during our stay. I loved the outdoor shower and my neice enjoyed the backyard. While Sea Street beach is the closest and is within walking distance, our favorite in the area was Kalmus beach and it is also quite close. The neighborhood is nice and I enjoyed jogging the sidewalks every morning and biking the Rail Trial beginning in South Dennis. The ferries are very convenient if you wish to visit either Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard (we visited Nantucket during our stay). And, the port was beautiful with all the boats bobbing in the water. The house was clean and well appointed and the home owner was very responsive to our inquiries. Would definitely recommend to friends!
Owner response:The Cape is at its most beautiful in September. With two master bedrooms, our house is a great place for family reunions and get-togethers. We're so glad you had a wonderful vacation.

"This house was very comfortable for our stay. We went with six people total. The master bedrooms upstairs are spacious. The master suite is large enough for a family of four with a baby and toddler and parents still have privacy. My mother stayed in the master suite and found it very comfortable when she wanted to just rest. It had a separate area with a pull out sofa, crib and cable t.v. The kitchen was well equipped and large. The dinning room is also large and comfortable although we didn't use it as the patio and yard were beautiful and private so we ate most of meals out there. My children really enjoyed the outdoor shower. This house is very close to the beach and center of town. Hyannis was very active with many restaurants and shops. We enjoyed using the Steamship Authority ferry to Nantucket but you can also use them to go to Martha's Vineyard. The Steamship Authority is a very short drive (maybe 5 minutes) from the house. Sea street beach was very private and the water was very calm. I would stay in this house again and recommend it to my family and friends."
Owner response:It's a lovely walk to the harbor and the Steamship Authority, which are less then a mile from the house. You'll pass beautiful Veterans' Park and Beach as well as some great seafood restaurants at the waterfront. If you prefer to drive, there is ample parking at the Steamship Authority.

I stayed at this house for a week in early/mid August, 2010, with my wife and our one-year-old son, my parents, and my brother and his wife and kids (ages 3 and 5) and had a great time. The house is very cute, well-kept and in a good location. There is a beach right down the street which is quite nice, although a bit rocky and choppy, and the main street is walking distance as well. We preferred to walk or drive to Kalmus beach which is a bit further but calm and not rocky, so better for those with children. The listing description and photos are accurate and the owner is very responsive. The best food we had was at Cooke's which is a cafeteria-style eatery.
Owner response:In addition to Sea Street/Keyes Beach, which is around the corner, there are two or three other beaches within a mile -- Veterans' Beach, Kalmus Beach and, (a very little bit further) famous Craigville Beach. We're glad your family had such a great vacation and that you took advantage of the variety of places to swim, suntan and have fun!

This is a charming vacation rental on a lovely cul-de-sac, It is close to both the beach and Main Street, Hyannis. We had two families staying together. The kids had a great time going to the beach, riding bikes and roller blading in the street, as well as running around the large backyard. The house has ample space to escape to a quiet corner with a book, too. Great dining table for meals and a very well appointed kitchen. We would highly recommend it.

"This is a fantastic property, especially for any families. It comfortably will sleep 8 people. It is in great condition, especially the 2 master bedrooms and bathroom upstairs. The Owner's are easy to work with. We had an amazing time. The outdoor shower is great. Pay the extra $50 and have your linens washed for you at the end of the week. It is really worth it. Have fun."
Owner response:Thanks for the great review. The housekeeper now automatically washes all bed linens for all our guests!

We had a lovely stay here. The Owner was so very responsive and helpful from the initial reservation arrangement to any questions that we had before or during our vacation. The house was great. Our 3 year old loved the big backyard, too, and we had quite a few nice dinners in the back. The quiet street was great when our daughter took her scooter out for short rides. We liked taking walks to the area beaches or to downtown Hyannis. We highly recommend!
