This lake community is located just 80 miles southwest of Washington, D.C., halfway between historic Fredricksburg and Culpeper Virginia, on Route #3. This home has over 3000 sq. ft. per level, is located on a private cul-de-sac, and provides driveway parking for 6-7 vehicles comfortably.
The kitchen has beautiful corian countertops, and opens to a 36' great room, complete with wet bar. Just outside the great room is a deck, the full length of the house, with a 12' X 36' screened porch with variable speed ceiling fans. Most rooms have beautiful expansive views of the lake. There is a separate dininig room plus a large dining area in the great room.
Lake of the Woods is a gated community offering a private 18 hole golf course, swimming, boating, fishing, horseback riding, sandy beaches, tennis, sailing, horseshoes, volleyball, basketball, fitness center and fine dining at the clubhouse. Sightseeing includes Civil War battlefields and Luray Caverns.
The house has a large dock area for sunbathing, fishing, swimming, canoeing, and pedal boating, or just watching the sunsets! Relax and enjoy this peaceful setting at the Lake of the Woods.
