  My husband & I stayed here while I was 7 months pregnant. The rental is absolutely gorgeous and very well maintained. We were very pleased with the place itself. The second night of our stay, there was live music at the pub below (they were directly below the bed). When the email from the owner mentioned that the suite was above a pub we expected some noise, but not the this amount or this late. We did have our noisemaker going, which didn't help. At 1:30 my husband went downstairs and asked how much longer they would be playing music. The band was already finished, but they were playing music still. They turned it down, but it was still so loud that we could here lyrics to the songs. It was at least another hour (2:30 am) before the music stopped. I felt we were extremely patient, but this was a bit much. I emailed the owner and never got a response. I suggested that he informed people that there was a possibility of live music being played downstairs. The listing also mentions that the convertible bed could fit 2 kids...this would be a nightmare for a family. My 3 year old would've totally been awake during all of this. Just wanted to pass this info along. I wouldn't have chosen this place if I would've known this. It would be a great place for someone who wanted to stay out late at the pub. Not so much for a 7 month pregnant lady.

  The best way I can describe this jewel is to tell you this -- Having done both, if I had the choice of staying either at the Old Edwards Inn a half-block away ($400-and-up per night) or at the Craig Suite, even if someone ELSE were paying the bill, I would still choose to stay at the Craig Suite! Location is the superlative combination of convenience and privacy; decor is lovely; hosts are gracious and welcoming. Far more luxe than one expects from a vacation rental, especially at this price - My baser instincts tell me not to even share this amazing find.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

  The Craig Suite is outstanding! All the appointments of a luxury hotel for half the price. We loved Highlands and especially the wonderful Craig Suite.

  We had a wonderful visit in Highlands and would recommend the Craig Suite to anyone! Lovely accomodation with extra "touches" provided by the owner making it very special. A great value!

  We had a great time in Highlands and the Craig Suite was incredible. We were in Highlands for a wedding and the suite was central to all the events and very convenient. We had all the amenities of home and could not have asked for a better place to stay. When we left we forgot a cell phone charger and they were kind enough to make sure we got it back. We will definitely stay at the Craig Suite when we return to Highlands. Thanks for a great experience.

  Our stay in your studio apartment included every thoughtful touch we could imagine.It is very well thought out and tastefully decorated. Loved the beautiful hardwood floors. Wouldn't think of staying anywhere else in the Highlands area

  This is a conveniently located, upscale, studio apartment perfectly set up for a couples get away to Highlands. It's large bedroom, with king size pillowtop bed, well appointed small kitchen, and private deck make it a very nice place to relax after a day of enjoying the mountains before walking out to a nice dinner in town.

  Wow! We have stayed in several VRBO properties. The Craig Suite is my personal favorite! The location is ideal, the shopping is exceptional. The suite is tastefully decorated with a kitchenette that is beyond expectations. You have a choice of 2 private balconies with either a street view or gardenview. Most importantly, your hosts are thoughtful and charming. The rates are the best in town! (we have tried other accomodations within Highlands that were dissapointing...at best.)Perfect for a weekend of shopping and sipping wine or a romantic getaway.
