This is our family summer home that we are making available for rent this summer. It is situated just a few miles out of Southwest Harbor, on the ocean rocks, nearby the very popular Seawall.
It offers fabulous and very private accommodations for up to 8 in a lovely decorated contemporary home on the shore of the Western Way. There are incredible easterly views that you can watch from both the upstairs and downstairs decks. The house is oriented to the water.
There is a Master Bedroom upstairs (with en-suite bathroom) with double doors to the upstairs deck and a skylight to the sky and then a Master Bedroom downstairs (again en-suite bathroom), that also opens up to the ocean via the lower deck.
There is a grass backyard that leads to the rocks- an ideal place for a picnic and being on the water. All of this is also available for viewing from comfortable cathedral ceilinged living room with wood burning stone fireplace or from the screened in porch while sitting on the swing.
Downstairs, along with the 3rd and 4th bedroom is a big playroom with a ping pong table and a sauna for use. We have some bicycles that you are welcome to use; everything you'll need for a memorable vacation. This is the way to do Southwest Harbor.
