Set on a uniquely private lot the house was lovingly renovated in 2005. It is now configured with three large bedroom suites each with its own private full bath and each on a separate level providing wonderful solitude for each couple. The house was recently featured in Romantic Homes magazine.
Travertine steps lead you from the garage down through lush landscaping past a six-foot high waterfall to the entry patio furnished with Brown Jordan chairs, glass topped table and French baker’s rack. This private outdoor sitting area is perfect for casual lunches or cocktails.
As you enter the house your breath will be taken away as you gaze at the magnificent panoramic views of Catalina Island, San Clemente Island, and the Pacific. The house is situated high enough (five blocks above the beach itself) to provide spectacular views up and down the California coastline.
The entry level includes:
Dining room with a beautiful wrought iron glass topped table that can accommodate eight and breakfront fully stocked with fine china and glassware.
Wonderful French style tiled kitchen plus walk-in pantry. Appliances include:

The guest suite on this level is outfitted with premium queen sized bed, small reading nook with chandelier, LCD HDTV, and tiled bathroom featuring a soaking bathtub, marble topped sink in French style chest, and linen closet.
Owned by an artist, beautifully decorated and filled with distinctive art, the living room comfortably seats eight with its two separate seating areas. The main area takes full advantage of the incredible views of Catalina Island due West and one can see as far North as Palos Verdes. The smaller sitting area with custom built-ins is centered on the gas fireplace and its magnificent marble mantle. It also has a 37” LCD HDTV and controls for the sound system throughout the house.
The upper balcony accessed from the living room has unparalleled 180 degree views up and down the southern California coast. You’ll quickly understand why Laguna Beach is compared favorably to the French Rivera. The balcony has a glass railing that provides endless sunset and whitewater viewing. The space is perfect for al fresco dining with table and chairs for six and includes a natural gas stainless steel grill. It also has an antique day bed that is convenient for stretching out to read your favorite novel.
The entire lower level of the house comprises the master suite. The suite includes a desk area, sitting room area, bedroom, and a luxurious bathroom. The coffered ceiling sitting area has a 42" LCD HDTV and a comfortable leather sofa-bed and wing chairs centered upon an over-sized gas fireplace with wood carved mantle and granite surround and hearth.
The master bedroom which is located two steps above the sitting area has a California king-size bed and 37” LCD HDTV. The spacious bathroom has a beautiful limestone and glass shower, separate toilet room with etched glass door, and his and hers closets.
The desk area has a storage area with a printer hidden behind leather panel doors.
The lower deck accessed from the master suite has four teak lounge chairs. Because of its total privacy this 400 sq ft deck is ideal for a massage provided by one of Laguna’s many fine masseuses. The views from the deck are breathtaking. The master suite level laundry is accessed from the deck.
The third bedroom suite is separated from the main house by a few steps, has its own private entrance and is perfect for parents or those desiring some space between themselves and the other guests. It has a beautiful queen-size bed, art deco love seat, and a 37" HDTV . The suite includes a full bathroom with tiled tub.
