Our group of 3-1/2 couples couldn't have been much happier with the house. Great location for ski/board access (a little skating required both ways unless your wax is perfect). Highlights are comfortable furnishings, a nice, well-equipped kitchen, plenty of room, quiet but accessible location with nice views, decent entertainment systems, wireless net and a real fireplace. The garage is only single-car but we left the one car outside and used it for skis and staging. If it was storming one would want to park inside so the plow crew could do the driveway. We hardly used the car except for a couple of errands and a run to the Yellowstone Tour rendezvous. We spent four days on Big Sky and two on Moonlight (bought Moonlight tickets as Big Sky base and took one free lift ride to access Moonlight). Both are great resorts with lots of interesting terrain and short liftlines (except for the Peak Tram, which was typically 15-20 minutes). It's generally easy to get around on a good (not too many) system of catwalks. Facilities up on the mountain are a little skimpy on plumbing, but the huts are cozy and informal, and the food is good and reasonably priced. The house could use a bigger foyer with more space for hanging outerwear and drying boots, as the garage is too cold for that. The ski rack in the garage is not great (great ones are exceedingly rare) but there's plenty of storage and closet space otherwise. We'd happily stay there again - the house and resorts are definitely in the top 10 of the 50-odd ski destinations we've visited.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

My family stayed in this gorgeous home in August, as it was our first time to Big Sky. What a great location, a 10 minute drive from the "downtown" Big Sky shopping and restaurants. The hot tub was a bonus. Plenty of space, rooms that offered privacy and own bathrooms, and a modern kitchen, living/dining room with a comfortable seating area. The outdoor, wrap around balcony provided a wonderful sitting area in the sun. Highly recommended!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We have been visiting Big Sky since the early 90's and have stayed at Powder Ridge cabins the last 4 years. This year was definitely the best ever. Plenty of room, never crowded even with four generations of family. Great location and the beautiful cabin was well supplied with everything we needed for our stay. Perfect for large groups. Once the groceries were unloaded we only left the cabin to ski ( and sleigh ride, snowmobile, snowshoe, and zip line). It was great. Thanks owners!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Just wanted to write to thank you for such a terrific place to stay in Big Sky. We had three families with a total of 7 children under 11 years of age. We never felt crowded, and never felt like we were in need of anything. The mountain and skiing are incredible! We had a terrific time snowmobiling in Yellowstone as well. We will definitely will be returning to Big Sky next year. Depending on the size of our group next year, we would certainly like to stay in this fabulous home again. Thanks again, our Big Sky memories will last forever!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

We all enjoyed this great ski in/ski out location and very well kept and well equipped home. We were VERY pleased. Thank you, Brian (Property Mgr.) and owners for providing a Pack n Play as well as a highchair. I think that we only called Brian twice. Each time he responded promptly and answered our questions quickly. The lower level was a great spot for our son and his wife and their 9 month old boy. It gave them some privacy while the young adults and the rest of us watched movies upstairs in the evenings. We loved the hot tub, too! Thanks, owners, for letting us rent from you.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

The home is exactly as listed. The summer scenic views (snow capped mountains)spectacular. Home is clean with beautiful and comfortable furnishings, extra supply of everything needed to live comfortably except groceries. Stores nearby. The lower level with sleeper sofa in den, separate bedroom, extra large bathroom, small refrig is very private space for small family. Highly recommend!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
