Red Bear Lodge is a custom built log home overlooking the fourth hole of the Tahoe Donner Championship Golf Course in Truckee/Tahoe, CA. This romantic lodge has been beautifully decorated and has three bedrooms, an oversized loft and can comfortably sleep up to ten. Perfect for two families! I stayed at Red Bear Lodge with my wife, 7 month old daughter and our Golden Retriever along with our friends who have 2 young kids for a nice ski weekend. The home is plenty big for 2 families and a very cozy setting to come back to after a long day of skiing. It has everything you would have in your own home including Apple TV and internet down to everything you need in the kitchen to be at home. We would highly recommend staying at this cabin and look forward to staying here again!

This place is located on a private street on a golf course - very quiet and safe for our kids to roam around. Love the logs, kitchen and new baths - nicer than we have at our home! Overall a great experience and I'll be back!

What a great time we had at the Read Bear Lodge! It is even better than the wonderful photos show. The kids loved the loft and playing outside and taking hikes around the area. What a relaxing cabin. Looking forward to coming back next year.

We're just back from a week of skiing and stayed at Red Bear. What a great experience - it felt like we were staying at a high end B&B. The owners left a quality bottle of wine for us and the beds/bedding were absolutely amazing! The setting is very quiet - lots of room to roam out back on the golf course - Thanks Red Bear we'll be back!!

We love Read Bear Lodge! We stayed the whole week and had the best time ever. The weather was perfect, so we spent the entire morning skiing and having fun it the snow. It was great to come back to our cozy cabin and enjoy some comfort food and warm up next to the wood stove. The cabin had everything that we were looking for: comfy beds, a cozy atmosphere, fire place, great view. We would highly recommend a pleasant stay here. The Zildzic Family

Great summertime getaway or winter retreat for the family. We stayed July and had a fantastic time. Room for two families or one large one. Cabin is well appointed with newly remodeled gormet kitchen being the highlight. Deck looks out over the golf course. Cabin is close to Truckee activities but feels like you are well away from it all. Lots of things to do, we had fun golfing, biking, hiking but mostly just relaxing and enjoying the fresh mountain air and peaceful surroundings. Highly recommended!

Your cabin is beautiful. This is our second time. This is becoming a twice a year trip for us. The kids keeps asking us: "When are we going back to the cabin." What can I say to that, especially when the adults had such a good time. We loved the deck. Great views to of the Golf Course! Very cozy comfortable cabin, with lots of room for our family. This was a beautiful, warm place which I have recommended to many of our friends. Thank you again for the hospitality. It is all you said it was in your advertisement and more!

We have stayed at Red Bear Lodge two times during two distinct seasons and look forward to returning when time allows. Wow, Luxury cabin in the woods, right on the golf course...every room in this place has been remodeled without losing any charm-no 70's decor in this place.
