This Non-Smoking house is elegant with a private garden and pool surrounded with flowers and fruit trees. It is walking distance, 2 blocks, from the town center yet offers a calm and quiet atmosphere. The kitchen is complete with all the basic needs for cooking and the dining table seats six. Each bedroom has a private bathroom and the master also houses a fireplace.

Tequisquiapan is considered the geographical center of Mexico and is located in the state of Queretaro. Queretaro is one of the most progressive states in Mexico and Tequisquiapan sits on a high plateau near de Sierra Madre Oriental. Because the altitude is 1860 meters (6400 feet), the air is dry and the nights are cool. Summer temperatures average 24-30 degrees C. (75-86 degrees F.), but even when the temperature occasionally climbs higher, air conditioning is unnecessary. Winter temperatures can range anywhere from 0-24 degrees C.(32-75 degrees F.) but rarely dip below freezing. Geraniums, impatiens, bougainvilleas, and many other flowers bloom all year long and most trees maintain their foliage throughout the winter months. Are you searching for the San Miguel de Allende of twenty years ago, before the traffic and expensive real estate? Some expatriates live in Tequis (as it is called by the locals), but this unique and picturesque town has yet to be “discovered” and is still bargain.
