Family friendly 4,200 sq ft waterfront home with a private dock on lake Wequaquet, one of Cape Cod's largest! This home is 5 years old with beautiful furnishings and a sophisticated, yet casual elegance that allows you and yours to unwind almost immediately! There are 4 spacious bedrooms each with its own full bath, including the master bedroom equipped with a balcony overlooking the lake, gas fireplace, double shower w/ steam and a Jacuzzi tub. The Main floor with its open floor plan, mini bar and gas fireplace were designed for entertaining the easy way! The kitchen is a chef’s delight with Granite countertops, a six burner commercial Dynasty Stove and of course a beautiful view. The Basement is completely finished with a bedroom, full bath and a full size kitchen. There is also a full gym on the top floor with a sofa and large screen TV...Got Kids? There is also a detached carriage style bunk house with TV only 50 ft. from the main house. Also, amazing sunsets!
Centerville sits on a peninsula on the southern side of Barnstable. With its maritime location on Nantucket Sound, Centerville was once home to wealthy ship captains who built stately homes in the early 1800s. Centerville is probably best known for Craigville Beach, one of the most famous on the south shore, to which visitors flock for boating, beachcombing and, of course, swimming in the calm surf and warm water of Nantucket Sound. To the east of Craigville Beach is the residents-only Covells Beach. Wequaquet Lake, the Cape’s largest lake, is popular with residents and their guests, and Centerville River inlet is terrific for canoeing and kayaking. Centerville is just minutes to downtown Hyannis, the Kennedy Compound in Hyannisport, summer theatre, the Cape Cod Mall, golf, and ferries to the islands of Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard. Also in Hyannis is the Cape Cod Melody Tent, offering big-name entertainment.

We book the house back in August, Mark the owner was great, He answer all of questions, great host, the house is just great you have a huge beatifull kitchen, pleanty of bathrooms and bedrooms, TVs, steam room I mean is just great. The nature around the house is as real as it can be, you ave the trees you have the lake it's beatifull.
Recommended for:Pet owners, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+.

We stayed here for a bachelor party and couldn't have been more impressed. Situated right on the lake it catered to swimming and kayaking while the house was big enough to accommodate us in the event of inclement weather. Features included plenty of sleeping space, a steam room and a kitchen an Italian mother would be jealous of. For the record cabs were more than willing to drive out there to take large groups downtown. Mark was a great, approachable owner who was more than accommodating to myself and the other organizer. Can't recommend it enough for large groups, young or old.

We stayed at the property for a weekend with a group of 13 and had a fantastic time. The property is in great condition and feels like a real family home. Its location on the lake is truly beautiful and it offers all the amenities one could wish for. Mark (the owner) was extremely responsive and helpful in everything. We all hope to come back soon.

Could not have asked for a better property to stay with my 14 college friends who were having a reunion of sorts. Plenty of space, an amazing lake, privacy and comfort...nothing could have suited us better. Mark, the owner, was tremendous in helping me coordinate and giving us info about the area and space to relax. All i'm thinking about is when I can get to this house again. It was sort of the ideal vacation spot -- close to everything in Centerville and Hyannis but also separated enough to feel like you have your own space. Oh and enjoyed the gym, multiple decks, private dock, and front lawn for tossing the baseball around. I couldn't recommend this property more for a group looking to get together and have some summer vacation time. You definitely won't regret it. Just don't take it on dates when I want to return!!

First off, the house is unbelievable…it’s huge, modern, and situated on a quiet street with a gorgeous lake in the backyard. Rented it for a weekend and it easily slept all 13 of us without a problem. What’s even better is that the owner, Mark, is so accommodating and goes out of his way to make sure your stay is enjoyable. He really gets it. Unlike others I’ve rented from in the past, Mark was the only one that walked me through the home and recommended local places to visit. He was a pleasure to deal with. Rent this house and I promise, you won’t be disappointed.

My family had a fantastic time in this house. Located right on Lake Wequaquet. We rented canoes and kayaks locally for the week. Had a great time exploring (although I struggled to catch a fish). House is in great shape with a beautiful large prof kitchen and wine fridge. House is big enough and layed out so that even my large family never felt cramped. The owner was a pleasure to deal with. Enjoy!
