Welcome to Abaco Eco Nest, our waterfront home is nestled on tranquil Cannon Bay overlooking Treasure Cay. A beautifully decorated 2 bedroom 2 bath waterfront retreat, privately seclusive for your total relaxation and enjoyment. When you want to 'get away' this is the place for you.

The master bedroom comes with a queen size bed and private bath. The guest room also features a queen size bed and futon. The living area, including the dining room and kitchen bar area are, open to the fully furnished surrounding covered porch. Other amenities: washer/dryer, a/c, computer w/high speed Internet, hot tub, reverse osmosis, dock, boats.

Abaco Eco Nest has it's own private beach, Treasure Cay has a spectacular 3 1/2 mi beach. Treasure Cay is a resort community located just 1/2 mile by water, or 2 miles by road from Abaco Eco Nest on the Island of Great Abaco. One of the Bahamian Out Islands. Treasure Cay is known for having one of the world's Top Ten Beaches according to National Geographic.

The Island of Great Abaco and the surrounding Cays are often referred to as the Family Islands due to their laid back lifestyle. Here you can easily explore the surrounding cays of Green Turtle (our favorite), Great Guana, Man-O-War, or Hope Town with its famous lighthouse.

  • This was the vacation of a lifetime! My family and I stayed for a week while enjoying the Abaco and the surrounding islands. Everything was great; from the gorgeous beaches to the friendly natives. The scenery was nothing short of paradise. We searched around looking for the something affordable as well as lavish, and the Abaco Echo Nest was just the ticket. It was nice to retreat into a cozy home after a long day of snorkeling in crystal clear water. We also found the customer service and hospitality from the owner to be satisfactory. We have been to Nassau and other islands in the Caribbean, but nothing compares to the wonderful experience we embarked while staying at the Abaco Echo Nest in the Behamas.

  • We really enjoyed our stay at the Abaco EcoNest. It's a great house with a nice full kitchen and comfortable living room with great TV and Stereo for relaxing after a long day out on the beautiful turquoise blue water. The porch with hammock and comfy chairs is a great place to enjoy the view and there's a grill and hot tub, too. It's fun to have the kayaks and small sailboat to explore the inlet and you can get to the out islands by renting a boat or taking the ferry. We thought it was definitely better to have our base on the main Cay, you have so many more options to explore than if you were based on an out island - and you can still visit all the out islands by boat or ferry. One of the best things about this place was Frank and his dog Triton....they were always there to help and give travel tips, etc. and they're fun to hang out with too!   • Absolutely WONDERFUL! The property is located close to Treasure Cay on the water, which makes for a great centralized vacation spot. You have the convenience of town near by, yet you are far enough away to feel like you’re alone on the island. The property is very private. Green Turtle, Great Guana Cay, Hope Town, Marsh Harbor and Little Harbor are near by and make for great day long excursions. The house is very modern and includes all the amenities (computer/wifi, Sat. TV, A/C, washer/dryer... a complete house). Outside you'll find a dock, hammock, hot tub, kayaks, sailboat and a wonderful wrap around porch. The property is about three acres and is home to lots of birds, curly tail lizards, hermit crabs and turtles. I enjoyed watching the humming birds fly right up to the porch to take a sip out of the feeder. At night, the stars are unlike any view I have ever seen in the states. Frank (and Triton) was friendly and accommodating. The grounds are clean and well kept. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to visit again. We did our research and this was the best bang-for-your-buck. In my opinion... this is the best deal on the island.
