  This condo was exactly what we needed: a comfortable stay in a great location. The proximity to the beach and restaurants was perfect. We wanted to be close to different amenities, but be far away enough that we didn't have to be smack in the middle of resort-town USA. The Banyan's location was perfect because we could walk everywhere we needed to, but be far away from the bustle to feel like we were going back "home". The condo was relaxing and fully stocked, and most of all, clean and comfortable. While the couches in the photo are now different (as is the kitchen island) they were both functional and the double-pull out bed couch was comfortable as well; the pictures are true to form. The kitchen was stocked and we didn't ever find we were without something we might need to make a home-cooked meal. It even had a magic bullet and a full blender which came in handy for us health-shake drinkers when we realized we had brought our own magic bullet but forgot our blade. The pantry also had some items and condiments to supplement what we had bought ourselves. There were beach chairs on the lanai, towel sets, spare towels in addition to beach towels. The bathroom had shampoo and wash; as well as a medicine cabinet that had other spare items - which looked like it could have been left behind - but handy enough to have the spare SPF, aloe or toothpaste. Having this be my second time staying at the Banyan (in the different suite) and third time in Oahu; this unit and the Banyan's amenities (pool, laundry, bbq stations, store, parking) is definitely my preferred choice for future visits because of the homey feel and proximity to the beach and the park. While parking is not included with this unit, the Banyan has paid parking facilities with 24 hour security and check-in point. Daily parking is $12; and weekly is $72 - which I imagine is safer and easier than trying to find street parking. Steve seems like a well seasoned owner who must keep busy renting out this unit and possibly others, as he is prompt and helpful in the booking process. He's readily available to answer questions and we're very happy with our stay and business dealing with him. I would definitely recommend this unit and the Banyan to friends and family in the future.   This unit was spotless and included everything we could have needed and more! Steve made the rental process a breeze for us first-time VRBO-ers and was only a quick email or call away if we had any questions. The condo itself is very bright and open. The living room is cozy and sliding doors between the living area and bedroom give a sense of privacy if desired. The bedroom was comfortable with extra linens if desired, and the bathroom was spacious. The kitchen includes all appliances, a water purifer on the tap, and a stocked pantry of basic necessities. Lastly, the lanai is spacious and offers views of the pool deck and Diamondhead - perfect way to enjoy a beer and the breeze! The grounds are well maintained and include fabulous amenities (pool, hot tub, snack bar, etc). Make sure to have coffee and a breakfast sandwich at the Banyan Breeze on the lobby level! Also, have change on hand for laundry (down the hall the from unit) and bbqs (on the pool level). The building is just a quick walk from the strip which gives you the best of both worlds - being close to the action, but still able to have a quiet evening. As well, the building is on the bus routes allowing you to quickly get to the mall, Diamondhead or Safeway - but if you're up for a walk you can get to these locations in 30-40 minutes by foot. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this listing. We cannot wait to return and would absolutely stay in this unit again! Thank you Steve :)

  The condo was clean well stocked and perfectly suited for my small family, which included a toddler. The location is ideally located a couple blocks from the beach, and our favorite sushi joint; plus the coffee shop just off from the lobby was the best we found in the city. Parking was easy and the amenities available in the condo (pool, tennis court, grill's, and playset) were a huge bonus. I would highly suggest this condo over others and especially over a hotel on the strip if your on the fence. Steve was always available via email, and answered all our questions. This is the condo you want if your heading to Waikiki.

• Impressive!

  After staying at the Waikiki Banyan two other times we were impressed of how nice this unit was. This was the nicest unit that we had stayed in. We like the Banyan due to it being further back from the strip. One thing I liked was the openness of the unit, other ones have a wall separating the bathroom and kitchen. It was opened up and the bathroom had two entrances which made the unit more appealing and less stuffy. Very nicely decorated and well kept. Steve was pleasant to talk with and reliable. Writing this make me want to go back right now. Blessings and many thanks for letting us stay there.

  This was an excellent property and was everything they said it would be. Lovely furnishings, well equipped with everything you could need for your stay, and in perfect working order. Nicely stocked pantry with all the basic essentials to get you started (the back of Kona coffee beans was a fantastic touch!!). My wife loved it, the kids loved it, and so I loved it! Steve was very easy to work with and the whole rental was a pleasure.

  We stayed at the condo for 2 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Steve is great and very accommodating. The photos reflect accurately of the condo, with new leather sofa bed. The property is very clean and well maintained. Plenty of room for 4 of us. The listing accurately described the location. Bus stop is around the corner. Short bus ride to Diamond Head and don't miss the Farmer's market by Diamond Head on Saturday. One block from the beach is really convenient. Recommend lunch by the beach at Duke's, Oxtail Ramen @ the other end of Kalakaua Ave & Waiola Shave ice. Definitely recommend this property, will not hesitate to stay here again.

  Steve was a pleasure to deal with. We loved the location of the condo and all the amenities it provided. The unit was clean and well taken care of. The beach chairs and umbrella and cooler bag sure came in handy. There was more than enough storage in both the kitchen and the bedroom for the 2 of us. We would definitely recommend and return to this condo.

  I thank Steve for letting us stay at the beautiful condo near Waikiki beach. I find him the easiest person to work with. The unit was very clean, and comfortable. A lot of thoughtful supplies were provided. I would recommend this condo for my friends and family who'd go to the area. Thanks again.

  We had a great time staying here. Very nice, clean and comfortable with everything that we needed. Close to everything. Bus stop right around the corner. Steve was very easy to work with and also very accommodating. We would very happily stay here again.

  We had an incredible stay. This condo is one of the most comfortable condos in the Banyan. We spent 2 months here and can hardly wait to get back. Steve and his wife are great hosts. We have stayed in many Waikiki Banyan condos and this one is our favorite!
