We just returned from staying 8 days in this delightful apartment in Beacon Hill. So much attention to detail in terms of necessities and amenities, everything a guest can want or need! This condo is very well furnished, clean, comfortable and cozy. Lovely wooden floors, granite counters and a great library. We enjoyed our morning coffee and tea as well as evening wine on the roof deck with sweeping views of the Charles River and the city of Boston. Beacon Hill location is so convenient for walking everywhere as well as taking the transit available about a 5 min. walk away. Charles Street has so much character with lots of cool shops, restaurants and pubs. Don't miss dinner at Artu Italian, a stroll through Boston Common and the Public Gardens, Freedom Trail Tour, USS Constitution and even a trip to Harvard in Cambridge. The owner is extremely quick in satisfactorily responding to questions and concerns. We would definitely recommend this property to others. When you prefer a "home away from home" vs. a hotel, this place fills the bill!

We stayed only two nights at this charming studio apartment and it was great! We were slightly disheartened walking up the tiny old carpeted staircase with cracks here and there, but this feeling was completely replaced with joy as we entered into the apartment - like a hidden oasis! The photos do reflect the appearance of the apartment, and perhaps don't do it justice since it was even nicer in real life. The special attention to detail was much appreciated, especially the artwork and plants. Though we didn't have time to make much use of the kitchen other than for breakfast, everything you would need for cooking is there. The WIFI worked well and was very useful to check for directions and general info since we would otherwise be using data roaming. The water pressure in the shower and bathroom sink is a little low, but not awful. The queen bed and pillows were comfortable - though making the bed in the morning is a bit awkward since it is only accessible from one side. The rooftop patio has great views - wish we had had more time to use it. With dimmer everywhere, you can set the lighting for any mood. Beacon Hill is just amazing! As another reviewer said, Charles street felt like our little quiet neighbourhood after only a couple of days. For a casual dinner back at the apartment, try the thin crust pizza from the Upper Crust with a nice bottle of wine from the nearby wine shop. We tried legendary Paramount for brunch with high expectations, but have had better. Parking was very very limited since the majority of spots are for residents. I drove around the narrow street for 20mins before I found one of the "visitor" spot on the street -- then I didn't move the car all weekend. For such a quaint, quiet area, everything is within walking distance - Charles River, harbour, Back Bay, North End, etc. The owner responded very quickly to our inquiry, which was appreciated, since we got only a few responses after several inquiring. She was also understanding and flexible about our arrival time and check out time.

We just returned from a week on Beacon Hill in Boston. The Condominium/Apartment was just as advertised. It was very clean, tastefully done and quiet. The owner was extremely easy to work with and responded very promptly to emails. The location felt very safe and was centrally located in the Beacon Hill area. No vehicle was necessary because we could reach the North-end, business district,Back-bay and the Common by walking. By the end of our stay we felt like Charles Street was our neighborhood. We would both recommend this property and use it again. A high-light was having a glass of wine on the roof-top deck at sunset with the city spread out in front of us.

This is a very comfortable Studio apartment with wonderful natural light. Overlooking the street, one has the feeling of being in the trees because of the lush foliage filtering the abundant sunlight. The renovations have maintained the character of the apartment while providing much appreciated conveniences such as gas range, dishwasher, clothes washer, garbage disposal, granite counter tops, wifi and television. We found the attention to detail inspiring. The apartment was quiet, well located to all conveniences, including gourmet grocers and restaurants. Shopping is excellent and the rooftop deck provides exquisite views of the city and river. We own our own VRBO property in Seattle and totally appreciate the effort and care that is expressed in this wonderful apartment in, arguably, Boston's best neighborhood.

We stayed here last July and it was fantastic! The location is central to everything and we walked all over downtown Boston, stopping in the North End for cannolis, nearby Savenor's for cheese, and Chinatown for dim sum. The Boston Commons is also nearby and we spent a relaxing afternoon enjoying the sun and the people watching. We made use of the kitchen (the smoke detector is a bit sensitive) and the roof-top patio was perfect for sunsets and a glass of wine. I especially enjoyed the collection of books, the artwork, and the plants in the apartment. All in all, this is the best VRBO we have stayed at so far, but it would be difficult to top the amenities of this lovely little studio. I highly recommend staying here!
