Charming lake house on Lake Meggunticook, located just a few miles from the beautiful town of Camden, "where the mountains meet the sea." This five year old Cape Cod home has three large bedrooms and two full baths, living room with gas fireplace and fully stocked kitchen. This quaintly decorated house has the coziest feel with all the modern conveniences of home.
The master bedroom with a queen bed and bath are located on the first floor. The other two bedrooms are located on the second floor. One has a queen bed and the other has twin beds. These spacious rooms share a large, beautiful bathroom with walk-in shower and soaking tub overlooking the lake.
The house also includes high speed wireless internet, plasma television and televisions in each bedroom, washer and dryer, long distance service, gas grill, kayak and a one car garage.
Enjoy the lake from a new dock for swimming, boating, water skiing, wake boarding, fishing, tubing or just relaxing on Adirondack chairs and watching the fabulous sunsets! Other activities enjoyed in and around the lake include biking, running, and hiking at nearby Maiden's Cliff. Enjoy breathtaking views of Penobscot Bay and all its islands from Camden Hills State Park, just a short distance from town.
Camden is the ideal family town known for unique shopping, art galleries, restaurants of all types and lobster caught by local lobster men. It is ideally located to many nearby towns including Rockport, Freeport and Boothbay Harbor, just to name a few. Rentals are from Saturday to Saturday.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cottage. The setting is amazingly serene with breathtaking sunsets. The house was absolutely pristine, beautifully decorated and well stocked. Having an outdoor shower was an added bonus. We have rented many homes and we must say this 'felt like home'! We were out on the lake every day swimming and having kayaks available to explore the lake was an added treat. We had fun shopping in Camden and would recommend Graffem Brothers in Rockport for take-home lobster. We look forward to returning next summer!
Recommended for:Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.
