Once you've mingled with the locals on this small yet amazing island, I'm positive you will be returning for years to come and to no surprise hear a "Welcome back" followed by your name! Ocean Isle Beach is a family oriented beach with so much to offer. Friendly people, a clean beach, local watering holes as well as many great restaurants serving anything from burgers to Italian to an extremely fresh catch of the day! Many shops to browse through for that special souvenir, a fishing pier, a game room with pool tables to ice cream and rentals for water fun, not to mention a creamery! There is also a chapel on the island as well as a sunrise service right on the beach.
With all of this available on the island, why would you ever want to leave? Well, just in case, to let you know we are located only minutes to Calabash which is world famous for its delicious seafood restaurants. Just a bit further and you will cross the South Carolina state line where you will find everything from Alligator Adventure, barefoot landing, factory shopping outlets, live shows, and casino boats. A wee bit further and you'll run into water parks and theme parks, such as Nascar, Hard Rock Cafe and many more, also, Broadway at the Beach which is known for its fab shops and fab nightlife!
This is definitely the place to be to enjoy a relaxing day at the beach and unwind. However, so close to the busier side of life it won't take you long to get there if desired. The perfect place to bring the family with something to do for every age group!
