Les Remparts is a wonderful small building that hugs the ramparts of Vence, a medieval town six miles north of Nice. From the balcony, one has a view of the Baous Mountains, the dramatic cliffs marking the end of the Alps, as well as the Chapelle du Rosaire, decorated by Henri Matisse to thank the nuns who nursed him through a serious illness. The town’s cathedral, built on the site of a forum from the Roman city of Vintium, has a mosaic designed by Marc Chagall. Tourists come to Vence from throughout the world to see the chapel and to stroll through the Cite Historique. (Historic Site)
The apartment is a studio that is perfect for two or three people. The studio has two double beds. One is a custom-made murphy bed (mounted into the wall) and the other is a sofa bed. There is a fully equipped kitchen since the owner enjoys cooking. A bathroom and a separate toilet room complete the inner space. One will find a compact disc/ radio combination, a telephone, hair dryer, iron and all of the conveniences one might expect in a private home.
The most wonderful part of the apartment is the balcony with its remarkable view and the large entry terrace that provides room for additional outdoor entertaining. The apartment has its own parking place, a real bonus in Vence!

Rate Details (In US Dollars)
$550-$700/week + $100 key deposit which is refunded when the key is returned.
€50 Euro to be left at the end of the stay for the cleaner.
In the low season (January, February, March) the rental price is $550 per week.
