This is a custom built "craftsman" home with fantastic views any time of day in Lake Almanor West. Sit on the deck with your cup of coffee in the morning, watching the sun light up the mountain in front of you. Or you may enjoy the beautiful sunsets with a glass of wine in hand as well.
We love to star gaze on the deck at night where you can see shooting stars hourly!! The kids like to bundle up in their sleeping bags with snacks while we are in our deck chairs. Great family time!
As you can tell, we love to relax at the Lake! During the day though, you have the option of a flurry of fun activities. Lake Almanor has world class fishing. The lake and surrounding streams yield trophy sized rainbow trout, brown trout, Chinook Salmon, smallmouth and largemouth bass. Google "Lake Almanor Hex Hatch" for more info.
Not to mention the waterskiing, jet skiing, etc! Rent a boat at Plumas Pines(no hassle) or bring your own to launch off our private community launch boat ramp. Water-ski all day or BBQ on a pontoon boat, you pick! Lake Almanor West also has tennis courts, a golf course, and rec. area. Hiking and Biking trails as well. There is a Forestry Dept. bike trail from the boat launch all the way to the dam-9 miles each way or get on your road bike and ride for miles on the scenic highway with views of Mt Lassen.
The great room is a wonderful family living and entertaining area. The dining area will accommodate up to 10 at the table with 3 stools nearby at the bar. The home is beautifully decorated with hand scraped wood floors, huge stone fireplace, custom iron chandeliers, handcrafted railings and a vaulted beamed ceiling, indoor and outdoor speakers for music, carpeting throughout the huge loft, bedrooms, and playroom.
We have a lot of privacy because of how the home was recently built, it's almost like a tree house when you're on the deck. It's absolutely beautiful in the winter as well, sitting in front of the stone fireplace watching the snow fall. We have a premium lot for sledding and have a blast using it!!!
Whether or not you want to take a vacation just to rest or be active, this is the perfect place to do either or both!! We look forward to welcoming you to our home.
