Our cabin is the kind of place where visitors will want to return year after year. The cabin offers 150 feet of sandy beach frontage; the swim area strethces out for well over one hundred feet, with shallow water and a clean sandy bottom. The cabin is uniquely situated on the north shore of south Lake Leelanau, offering dramatic lake vistas that stretch several miles to the south, while the western shore with its rolling green hills are also clearly in view.
It is an absolutely charming studio cabin at Au She Gun Resort on beautiful Lake Leelanau. This enchanting cabin is fully updated, but the beautiful natural setting still provides a rustic "Up North" feel. 150 feet of shared sandy beach frontage, play area, and family friendly atmosphere make it ideal for a family vacation on the water, while the cozy atmoshphere and fabulous sunset views make it perfect for a couple's getaway.
There is a shared fire pit available for evening campfires. Two shared docks and moorings are available for your boat, and boat rentals are available nearby.
The cabin offers access to the best of both worlds. It is tucked far away from busy roads and highways, yet it is still conveniently located just minutes from all that this beautiful area has to offer in sightseeing, shopping, dining, and exploring.

I actually stayed in those cabins as a kid for 26 summers. Our families came year after year and we made life long friends here. I remember back then having to pump the water in the sink and we only had cold water and a pot belly stove in the middle of the room. These cabins are awesome as is the beach there and the entire lake. Au She Gun will forever be in my heart and the BEST place to take your children year after year after year! Start your own memories here and you'll never regret it. It's the best. Diane Odell (Watts)Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

We stayed here in mid-Oct. for a romantic weekend get-away and had a wonderful time. It is a very peaceful and beautiful setting right on the lake. There are lots of wineries to visit in the area which we really enjoyed, and great restaurants too. The cabin is very clean and well-kept. We would definately stay there again.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 5/5

Our boys loved the loft because they felt adventurous while Mom and Dad slept down below. The cabin was clean and well-stocked with kitchen utensils, spices, and other cooking needs. It was a real cute cabin. We roasted marshmallows around the fire pit, played frisbee, and thoroughly enjoyed the view of the lake. It was very quiet and peaceful there. We felt like we were in the middle of nowhere, yet our many sightseeing destinations were only minutes away - what a great combination! We loved our time there and would definitely go back again.
