Description of Our Log Homes, Construction Completed in May 2001
Our log home are constructed with all wood décor to give you the warm, cozy feeling that a get away should. Its constructed with red cypress wood; high open beam vaulted ceilings throughout. It also offers all of the modern necessities to make your stay as comfortable as possible. It offers a great panoramic view over looking the wide, deep waters of Lake Greenwood.
Being constructed on a hill, the upstairs is at ground level entering the great room from the rear deck, It offers a fully equipped kitchen with hardwood floors, (including large refrigerator with ice maker, full sized glass top stove, large microwave, all cooking pots and pans, blender, can opener, coffee pot, toaster, and dishes, glasses plus plenty of cabinet space. A large dining bar between the kitchen and great room seats up to 11 people)
The spacious great room come complete with Berber carpet, large fireplaces with stone hearths. (Firewood will be provided, when in season). The great room offers two queen sofa sleepers with additional chairs, (combined with the dining bar, the seating capacity is around 20) pool tables, 27 inch television, VCR, double French doors leading to a covered porch with a beautiful view of the lake. The Covered porch has a 5 man hot tubs and seating to accommodate 8 to 10 people. The back decks entering the home have large barrel shaped smoker charcoal grills. The Great room also offers a cozy solid cypress full bath with Jacuzzi tubs. All of our sleeper sofas are quality name brands with extra thick; inner spring mattresses for maximum comfort. There are several (4) televisions in cabin with local cable . We also have local phone service.
A. Downstairs master bedroom has 1 king, 1 full, and a (single bed over the full), Chester drawer, dressers, 19 inch television, and alarm clock, large closets, Berber carpet, open beam ceiling, and glass French doors exiting to a covered porch facing the lake.
B. Second bedroom has a queen, and a full bed, Chester drawers and dresser with large closet, 19 inch television, Berber carpet, open beam ceiling, and glass French doors exiting to a covered porch facing the lake. Each bedroom porch is attached to boardwalks leading to the pier.
C. Smaller third bedroom has a full size bed, Chester drawers, 13-inch. Television, small closet, Berber carpet, and the same rustic open beam ceiling as the two main bedrooms. Downstairs also offers a full bathroom constructed of solid cypress wood, along with a laundry room with washers and dryers and iron & board.
There are many local grocery and restaurants within minutes of the cabins. We personally manage the hot tubs to ensure optimal water quality. There are two public boat ramps close by, along with a parking area on our premises for your boat trailer. The two cabins have a 55 ft. pier between them to dock your personal water craft or boat.
