Nice but needs a few updates

The unit was nice, photos on site are accurate, close to pool but we drove to beach (too hot to walk). Short driving distance to area restaurants and attractions. In general, unit was nice but we would only recommend or go back if the following updates are made: need to intall flat screen tv's in all rooms, need to replace twin mattresses in the 3rd guest bedroom, need to replace the large floor rug in master bathroom, need to fix the toilet in the 2nd guest bathroom (runs and barely flushes), need to make sure the front door and entrance to unit is clean/touch up paint (first impressions go a long way), need to make sure dead bugs (i.e. coachroaches on the Lanai) or swept up, need to fix the bathroom tissue dispenser in the master bathroom, and providing beach towels would be a nice added touch. Sandestin Resort is very nice but since we leased directly from owner, we were not aware that access to the resort amenities was not included (tennis, mini-golf, etc.)
Owner response:Please note prior ratings on this condo are 5/5. Minor repairs & touchup paint are always necessary following a successful rental season. However, immediate issues including housekeeping could have been addressed with contact information provided for onsite associate. Beach towels have been provided for our guests in the past however they are frequently left @ the pool/beach. Sandestin Resort sells them to their guests. Otherwise, this condo is well stocked. All new stainless steel appliances were installed last year with intent of upgrading to HD TV this fall. Resort amenities are available to guests for a fee & is reflected in greatly discounted rates. In regards to palmetto found on lanai...it was outdoors in the summer in Florida.

I just retured from a week vacation in Sandestin !! It was GREAT !!! The Condo was so very spacious, and beautifully decorated everything was perfect, we enjoyed our stay so very much the cool breeze on the lani was Great and so relaxing surrounded by beautiful lush flowers and trees , the pool was only steps away from the condo. There were Seven of us all sisters and cousins !!! The condo was so well stocked with everything that we needed, and Greg was a pleasure to work with , he was always available if there were any question or needs, only a phone call away. It is a beautiful place to stay and I recommend it highly ! Denise and Ralph, Thank you so much for allowing us to Rent your home !!! You are both so sweet and easy to work with in getting everything arranged for our trip!! Thanks again and I hope that we will be able to return SOON !!!!! Nancy

This condo is very spacious. We slept 8 comfortably and took advantage of the large dining and kitchen areas. We were within only a few steps from the swimming pool and within walking distance to the beach as well. The kids enjoyed using the beach toys available in the storage shed. I enjoyed staying here so much more than a small motel room.
