The house was extremely nice and located in a very quiet location with a beautiful view of the marsh and river. Everything was very neat and clean. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck listening to the birds and watching the boats go up the river. The house had everything we needed for a relaxing trip. The neighbors were nice (as was everyone we talked to in St. Mary's) and very informative about St. Mary's. We had a wonderful time and I hope to return again sometime with the rest of the family. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home away from home with us!

My brothers and I stayed in St Marys, played golf and went to Monday Night Football in Jacksonville. Everything about the house was perfect, the location, the size, the amenities, all in all it could not have been better. Just a great place to stay, thanks much. And St Marys is a great town to visit.
Owner response:Mike, Glad you enjoyed our luxury home and come back anytime. Thanks for leaving it in great shape too.

This is a wonderful home at the end of a residential street, one house away from the water (with views). It was spacious, very peaceful and conveniently located to the waterfront & restaurants. St. Mary's is an excellent base to explore Cumberland Island, other Georgian coastal islands and the Okefenokee Swamp. St. Mary's itself is a delightful seaside town with a lovely waterfront walkway and good restaurants.
Owner response:Thanks, Sharon, for taking care of our home and we are so happy your stay was so nice. Come back to St. Marys anytime.

We managed to book this amazing coastal home as a last-minute family holiday and had an absolutely unforgettable time! The kids enjoyed themselves exploring the marshlands and hanging out with super friendly locals. Fresh seafood and a very relaxing atmosphere were the theme throughout our stay. I've always enjoyed Low Country travel; this St. Mary's home is at the top of my list for every future visit to that area. Stewart and Walt were excellent to work with. Thanks Salty!
Owner response:Thanks so much and come back anytime - we loved having you visit!

Our stay at this house in St. Mary's was everything my family and I hoped for. We flew into Jacksonville, rented a car and arrived at the house 30-45 minutes later. Couldn't have been any more convenient. The restaurants downtown were very good and within walking distance. The downtown area near the water was very attractive and laid back. It was also fun to check out the cemetery and other historic landmarks. We hopped on the interstate from St. Mary's and travelled north about 30 minutes to Jekyll and St. Simons Islands...awesome! The highlight though, had to be Cumberland Island. Whatever you do when you're in this area, do not pass up a trip to Cumberland Island! I suppose I should say something about the house! Spacious, quiet area, well-appointed. Everything was in great shape and in working order. I can't think of anything that was lacking. We really enjoyed the deck in the mornings and evenings. The kitchen and living area was perfect for entertaining and just plain relaxing. It couldn't have been any nicer. I highly recommend this rental. Thank you Stewart for providing a top-notch place for vacationers to stay when they're in St. Mary's.
Owner response:Thanks so much for your remarks and we are thrilled you enjoyed our custom home like other guests - and we too love St. Marys and its lad back coastal living! I started a real estate broekrage here some years ago - and am so happy I did. Come back and visit.

I just spent the weekend at this lovely home with my sisters and Mom for her birthday. We thoroughly enjoyed having everything closeby, while being in quiet peaceful surroundings. The people of St. Mary's are very friendly, true small town southern hospitality! The house was well stocked with everything we needed. We look forward to a return visit.
Owner response:Thanks so much....and come back anytime! Can't beat the view to the water and Amelia.

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us! Everything was just great. From the view to the town, and even the neighborhood feline visitor. St Mary's is such a friendly town - - true Southern Hospitality - - and your house if the perfect place for a peaceful getaway. Off the main street, but close enough to walk to shops and restaurants. Thank you!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Creek House. The house was absolutely gorgeous and completely met all of needs. The granddaughters thought it was awesome! The community was quiet and friendly. There was plenty of close and affordable entertainment and dining opportunities. We really enjoyed being so close to the beach, but far enough away to not be in the crowds. We would recommend this home to anyone wanting a quiet and relaxing vacation. This was our 3rd annual family vacation and it was the best by far!!! We can't wait until next year!!!

The Creek House was a perfect place for an annual reunion for four librarians. We relaxed each night after exploring St. Mary's, Cumberland Island, St. Simon's Island, Jekyll Island and Amelia Island. The people of St. Mary's are very friendly and we loved Lang's Seafood for dining. The home provided wonderful decks for viewing wildlife. The property was tastefully decorated and extremely well-maintained. I would recommend this home for families, girl getaways, and couples who want to travel together. You will have ample activities very close by. We would highly recommend the Creek House.

It is a comfortable well set up place with a beautiful view and quiet location . The beds, sheets and towels are good quality. The house is well stocked for vacationers - shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in showers. The kitchen has everything you need including wine opener, and coffee filters. Wrap around deck is wonderful. We were there in May and sat out mornings and nights. We were in town for a graduation so did not have adventures away from the house. We entertained family, and grilled on the deck. There were 6 of us staying in the house and we found it comfortable, spacious, and homey. Convenient having a washer, dryer, and laundry detergent. We made good use of the books and puzzles that were there.

We loved this house. Great location, beautiful house, plenty of space, clean. We loved hanging out on back deck in the evenings and running around Cumberland Island during the day. We will definitely stay at this property again if we had that direction. Great price for an AWESOME house!

House was great, the neighbokhood was quiet, and the neighbors friendly. This was our first time to St. Marys and it proved to be a perfect spot. The city itself was lovely and the waterfront area kept the adults and kids busy. St Marys was also a perfect starting point for day trips to the Okefenokee, Cumberland Island, Amelia Island and Jacksonville. A great time was had by everyone!

We thoroughly enjoyed February at your home in St Marys. By far and away it is the very best place we could have chosen to call home. It is very nicely furnished, the kitchen is well equipped, and the views from the decks over the marsh are an extra plus. We found St Marys to be a perfect place to base for our explorations of the Golden Isles. We would highly recommend to anyone wanting an exceptional place to call home while exploring Coastal GA that there is none better than this home. It is one of the best we have ever rented in all our travels. Many Thanks! Tom and Lorri Mendota Heights MN

What a fantastic place! Looked great from the picture but the real thing was even better than I imagined it would be. THe location couldn't be better--sunrise over the marsh, woodstorks in the yard, the moon coming up over Cumberland Island--what a place. The town and the people are open and gracious. Stewart and Laurie could not have been any nicer. Stayed a month and going back for 3 weeks in March. You won't want to leave the house or the town once you've been there.

Your house is absolutely beautiful. There was nothing we needed that wasn't provided first class! It is so close to everything, and yet very private. There's room for several cars or boats. Neighbors were very friendly. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving there. I'd definitely go back.

What a terrific new home! One of a kind. St. Augstine type home, yet the only rental that I could find that provides everything one needs to have fun but also conduct business (free phone and internet). Osprey and Woddstorks all over the place. if consulting for KINGS BAY, this place is a must for contractors. Thank you Stewart and many happy returns.

Just a quick note to tell you "thank you" for sharing your lovely home with us for the past week. We had a wonderful time in the St. Marys area and your home was delightful. We were NOT ready to leave. The weather was perfect as well. Our favorite eating places, that you had told us about, were Seagles for dinner (rock shrimp and hush puppies were the very best of the numerous times/places I had them) and Sliders for lunch..blackened tilapia fish sandwich was to die for!! Only sorry we didn't get there until Thursday or we'd have had to go back for more of that..) All in all, it was a wonderful week that we got to spend with friends, relaxing, 'exploring', playing cards, and of course, the toddy or two and the great food....all topped off with a beautiful place to stay. Again, just wanted to say "Thank You" and appreciate all the suggestions you shared with us, but most of all, for sharing your wonderful home with us. Bonnie...Lakewood, Co

The house was even nicer than the pictures, and the view of the marsh and river was outstanding. There was always a nice afternoon breeze off the water that made sitting in the swing on the wrap around porch very nice. The location is great with easy access to beaches and the Okefenokee Swamp. The restaurants downtown were very good and reasonable and the river front park in St. Mary's was a great place to walk and enjoy the views of sailboats and a beautiful sunset. We will definitely plan a return trip and would highly recommend to anyone planning a visit to this area.

This was by far the nicest property that we have ever stayed in with VRBO. The owner made sure that every amenity was included: porch swing, outside dining table, even nice neighbors. This is a quaint fishing town with plenty of fresh air and shops. Close to so many other small villages, too, so sightseeing is simple. Great place, Stew. Thanks, Susan
