It may not be heaven but I'm pretty sure you can see it from the porch. The home is incredible and CURRENTLY well maintained. A couple small things: We were completely unsure what to do or how to use the housekeeper in the couple of times she showed up - once at 0630. We transported her back to her home. 2nd - there is no "on premises" pool skimmer net. The pool cleaner comes twice per week which is great but he takes his net with him. Unfortunately the bugs and debris do not adhere to the schedule and jump onto the surface of the beautiful pool on the off days. These are such minor issues though. The rum shack down by the main road is great and the people are incredibly friendly. It will be much cheaper to visit the rum shack than any of the main restaurants. The view and breeze are wonderful. My hope is that the current owner maintains his interest in the property and continues to maintain and develop it in the vision begun a few years back. I highly recommend this property.

We loved Butlers...the house, the pool, the grounds, the patio,the staff, the little bar down the hill. (great people,please say hello to them from us) Diane and Tim were great...if something went down, they took care of it right away. It was a sad morning for us when we had to say goodbye to our "home" that we had for two wonderful weeks. Thank you for sharing your home with us..... Rhonda and Jim Canada

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with our family. The Butler's House is unique, special and off the beaten path! Our favorite room in the House=Front Porch. Dinners by candlelight with views of the ocean. You have a great collection of CD's. The Dining Room was our dance floor. The kitchen: wow! Every detail of your home is charming. Married for 22 years=most romantic place we've ever stayed!!! Past vacations to St Barts, Anguilla, St Maarten, St Martin, Out Islands, Bahamas, Bermuda, Great Barrier Reef Australia. Nevis=Most Friendly Island. The Butler's House...A Little Slice of Heaven!!!

We came to the island with a long list of things to see and do and we'll have to get to them all next week! We enjoyed the house so much we rarely wanted to leave. Relaxing mornings on the verandah, afternoon naps and swimming in the pool and a daily meal watching the monkeys in the trees! The property was incredibly beautiful and well maintained... A true week on vacation--we loved it!

This was our own private sanctuary. We barely left the property because we enjoyed the setting so much. The grounds are amazing; well kept and full of wildlife--we saw monkeys daily, hummingbirds, frogs, a mongoose, bats... The house is charming, with great outdoor space for eating and lounging. We did not want to leave at the end of the week!

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

Shortly after becoming engaged last year we began hunting for a perfect honeymoon spot. There's some nice places out there but, really, all these Caribbean vacation homes begin to look the same. We wanted something special...unique. Then one day I stumbled on Butler's House. It wasn't on the beach like we wanted and it lacked AC, but we knew the moment we saw it that it was perfect for us. This place has exceeded our expectations. We leave tomorrow but we leave having had the most amazing honeymoon two people can have...

We have thoroughly enjoyed this little enchanted oasis -- from the wonderful house to the pool to the beautiful grounds. We, too, could have stayed a lifetime!

This was a perfect place to stay. We've been visiting the Caribbean for 24 years and Butler's and Nevis are on top of the list...Really enjoyed the history of the island and Butler's House. The Butler House gardens are amazingly diverse and wonderfully maintained....Only stayed 1 week but could have stayed a lifetime.

It is a wonderful quiet location with beautiful gardens and pool... Stayed in for dinner and later watched the bats dive over the pool at night. The monkey's also appear in the evening looking for oranges. It was all wonderful and we hope to be back again!

"Everything we were able to do in the 2 weeks we spent on island brings smiles to my face - in particular candle light dinners on the patio each night, my 4 diving excursions off St. Kitts, our quest to explore and enjoy every beach on the island, our laid back soaks in the pool surrounded by the most beautiful landscape we've ever borrowed and the history we uncovered on the premises and throughout the island. This house is a slice of heaven-- a place to laze away the days, read a book, explore the gardens. Once you get there you won't want to leave. Beautiful views, great furnishings, glorious pool. And away from the rest of the world. Can't wait to go back!
