We are Celebrating our 10th year of Rentals at this Beautiful, 2000-square-foot, log home offers views of La Lomita Mountain tops & the Sangre De Cristo Mountain Range. Views of the Rio Grande River just outside the front door.
3 Themed Bedrooms:
* The Master bedroom "Moose Lodge" is the only bedroom located on the main floor, for the ultimate in privacy. It offers a King Size Log bed with Pillowtop Plush Mattress and amazing views of the mountain tops through the French door that open onto a 680 square foot private deck. Deck has a sunken 7-person hot tub, a 5-person dry sauna, BBQ Grill Table, BBQ Grill and Bistro Set. Tastefully decorated in a Moose Theme with real wood furnishings.
* The 2nd bedroom: "Fisherman's Cove" is located on the second floor in the front of the home & has spectacular views of the Rio Grande River & La Lomita Mountain Tops. Open the windows in the evenings to hear the river flow. This room has a toddler bed, a Travel Crib as well as 2-Queen-size beds, its perfect for an entire family.
* The 3rd bedroom: "Bear Den" is located at the back of the home on the second floor & offers views of the mountain tops. This is the kid's favorite room; they call it the "Teddy Bear" Room. It offers 2-Log Queen Beds. This room has an oversized closet and dresser and offers gorgeous views of the mountains to the back of the property.
* Located on the second floor is the game room. Complete with a 7' pool table, foosball table, air hockey, darts, Ping-Pong table, shuffleboard, checkers, Backgammon and much, much more. There are additional "kid-size" tables of each of the same games for the children to play while the adults enjoy their own game. Nintendo with games, coloring books & crayons, as well as a full toy chest and board games (both adult & young children). The game room has its own TV and VCR with expanded satellite service. There are over 250 VHS videos included for your use.
*Enjoy luxury during your stay with towel warmers in each bathroom for those cold morning or nights after Skiing, Hot Tubbing or hanging out in the Dry Sauna.
The living area boasts a gas log-burning fireplace with a micro-suede sectional sofa to lounge in after a long day. It is perfect for viewing movies, or just relaxing.
The back deck has a private, seven-person hot tub, with a BBQ grill table perfect for making s'mores with the family, a Gas BBQ Grill (propane NOT included), 3-benches, a Bistro table & chairs and a 5-PERSON DRY SAUNA W/STEREO CD PLAYER. The back yard has a swing set just for the kids to play on while you relax in the Hot Tub or Sauna and horse shoe pit!
Everything you need during your vacation is provided! Laundry soap, shampoo, conditioner, hand cream, toothpaste & body wash. We'll even supply your first nights coffee, tea and hot chocolate to get you started. We have thought of everything so you don't have to, just bring your clothes and move right in!
What to do after skiing? We can keep you AND the kids busy with 5-bicycles (various sizes), Horseshoe Pit, movies and games galore. How could you go wrong with all this!!!

What a wonderful home this is! We had a great time. The game room was a big hit with the kids. You really try hard to make your guests comfortable. Thank you. The only problem, the dishwasher was broken, hand washing for 10 people slowed us down a bit. HA HA! We would definately come here again.

We had a wonderful stay, we loved being able to use the hot tub and sauna and the laundry room and other ammenities were great. The beds are comfortable and we enjoyed the game room and satellite. Some suggestions softer towels, a radio/cd player, wireless access, adtl bathroom rugs (it's cold). Thanks for the great stay.

We had a wonderful time thank you to the Gearhart's for courteous and prompt reply to a few problems. Howard was so kind in calling to see if everythign was fixed. We had our family of 5 plus my parents from Kansas join us at the last minute. 7 of us very comfortable with lots of room to relax, read or play games. I even had time to read one of the novels here. Everythign was great. We left a note about maintenance items, would love to stay again.

What a wonderful way to spend Christmas in the snow covered mountains of Colorado in a beautiful well equipt log cabin. Despite the cool house when we arrived due to a gas outage, the problem was fixed quickly and our stay very enjoyable. The cabin was well stocked and we enjoyed being able to cook and not eat out. Spent days skiing and off to Pagosa Springs for some shopping.

Our stay was August 5-10, 2007. The horse shoes were a hit and the gameroom invaluable. On our stay we went white water rafting and we are going to Pikes Peak today. We went to a state park and got lost looking for Natural Arch due to poorly marked roads. We are from Berryton & Wetmore, KS. We absolutely loved the trip. We are from Seiling, OK and enjoyed the trip very much. The mountains are beauitful and the weather great! We did fishing, shopping and four wheeling. We went to a "top" of the mountains more than once, awesome! God is great! Loved the trip.
