My wife and I had a great time at Dean Pond staying at the Lakehouse. It is centrally located in Massachusetts to alllow for visitors and far enough away to think you were in NH or VT. Great fishing, great views, real relaxing.

We had a wonderful time during our stay at the Waterfall House. The cottage was very clean and nicely decorated. The beds were very comfortable. The inkeeper, Shirley, was very pleasant and helpfull. We also had neighbors staying the lakehouse who were wonderful. The propety was very quiet and serene. Our dog Jasmine who recently lost her best friend Buddy had a great time and seemed to come out of her shell during our viisit. We had frends come for one night who also loved the cottage and told us we were lucky to find such a nice place. We plan on spending our next summer vacation at one of the cottages and would definietly recomend this place to our friends and family.
Owner response:Thank you for being our Guest! We enjoyed having you and looking forward to your arrival next year. You left our home immaculate also. Peace & Happiness Shirley

Relaxing in a hammock, watching the lake waves lap up on the shore, a cool drink in hand with the smell of barbecue wafting over. Bliss! Such a peaceful place. Also enjoyed some festive fireworks and socializing with other guests. Loved going out in the boats. Thanks for a great stay!

I recently had the pleasure of a wintery stay at the lake house. Not only was this place a breath of fresh air on the inside, the view is undescribeable. The lake was frozen during our stay and I personally hollered a holiday greeting to a man ice skating. The simple and rustic appeal of the cabin opened itself up easily to my own decorations I brought from VT. Plenty of parking available as well as nature trails along the lake. The flowing kitchen/dining room/living room allowed my group of friends to congregate in any area with ease and comfort. This was an amazing 7th Annual Christmakwanzakah, and we are now debating if we should stay in the Lake House again next year or try another one of Shirley's cabin getaways. Let me not forget to mention how helpful and extremely pleasant Shirley, the owner, had been to work with. For example, left my cell phone in the couch cushions and she shipped it back to me for no charge! Stay in one of her cabins and remember to write a review when you return home!

August 09 was fun for the children and grand children. The sunrise was in front of us and refelected off the lake as a new day arrived.. From our morning coffee on the patio to the smores at the campfire at night, our days were full of swimming, fishing, boating or just grabbing some of those rays. Our many guests enjoyed themselves as well. This is a place of laughter and fun. A place to meet new people and relax.

We stayed at the lake house for a weekend and loved every moment of it! We were coming very late, all stores were closed and Shirley brought as charcoal to start the grill. The lake is amazing any time of day! We took a boat to middle of the lake at night time to stargaze. I haven't seen these many stars for a very long time! and when the light reflects from the water it's an unbelievable view!!! We will definitely come back again!
