UPPER MEADOW LODGE on Palomar Mountain is a breathtaking lodge style home, with five luxurious suites, and four and a half baths. In addition there is a cozy 200 square foot romantic 'Fern Cottage' that offers a bed and bath of its own, and is settled among the ancient Cedar grove just a stone's throw from the main lodge house.
'Hawk Haven' is an added bonus to our guests! This spacious 500+ square foot space can accommodate meetings, crafters, scrap book and quilting clubs to name a few.
Located just 1.5 hours from San Diego, 2 hours from Los Angeles, Upper Meadow Lodge, is secluded, elegant, warm and inviting, with stunning views from the top of Palomar Mountain.

Rates & options below apply to rental of part of the Upper Meadow Lodge. The Upper Meadow Lodge has 3 levels and can be set up as described in the 'Available Options' below.
Reservations cannot be made more than 10 days in advance for rentals of less than the entire home. Call for more information.

~ Main Floor - Includes Great Room, Gourmet Kitchen, 2 suites, 2.5 bathrooms, BBQ, SPA and 8 private acres.
~~Friday, Saturday & holidays $350.00 per night, 2 night minimum up to 7 guests ($150.00 cleaning fee, plus refundable security deposit)
~~Sunday - Thursday rates are $250.00 per night 2 night minimum up to 7 guests, ($150.00 cleaning fee, plus refundable security deposit)
~Main floor plus Sundance Suite or Fern Cottage. Includes Great Room, Gourmet Kitchen, 3 suites, 3.5 bathrooms, BBQ, SPA and 8 private acres.
~~Friday, Saturday & holidays $400.00 per night, 2 night minimum up to 10 guests,($150.00 cleaning fee, plus refundable security deposit)
~~Sunday - Thursday rates are $300.00 per night 2 night minimum up to 10 guests, ($150.00 cleaning fee, plus refundable security deposit)

Created for large gatherings, the large gourmet kitchen features a professional 6-burner stove with griddle and double oven, and ample counter-space, storage, and everything you need to cook for a crowd. Great Family House Rental for Thanksgiving Holiday

Our entire San Diego County family came up to the Upper Meadow Lodge for Thanksgiving weekend. There were 24 of us (including babies) and we were all very comfortable in the house - each family had our own bedroom suite. We cooked Thanksgiving dinner in the massive kitchen - never getting in the way of one another and had a sit down dinner for all of us in the huge dining area. It was terrific! We played ping pong in the garage, cards and chess in the living room; unforgettable holiday and the hot tub on a cold night was enjoyed by all. Stars are unreal in the sky and the afternoon sun on the extended porch was spectacular. Friends came by during the day to visit and awe the surroundings. Was just perfect! When you have a big family and you want to all be together for Thanksgiving - Upper Meadow Lodge is the best. Can't wait to rebook for next year.

If seclusion is what your group wants, with great views, cool weather compared to the the base of the mountain, this is your place. We gathered from FL, IN, NV and SoCal in July of 2011 and everyone loved it. Large, spacious house and what we called the doll house made a convienent, quiet couple retreat from the late night poker sessions. Very confortable a probably equal distance from Temecula and San Diego. John Wayne airport was convienent for us. We had 19 folks and one mom and son slept on air mattresses the rest of us in bedding! GopherIt......djb, Naples, FL
