What an amazing place! The cabin exceeded all our expectations. My mom, kids and I shared a wonderfully relaxing weekend with long nature walks, fireside visits, smores', nice meals and a wonderful family time. The upstairs porch was a sweet escape for reading, a glass of wine and a gorgeous sunset. The owner was very accomadating and helpful. He called to make sure we made it in and to assure that everything at the cabin was okay.....what a nice touch after a long week and drive to the mountains. Second visit and planning our third!

Relaxing Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful time at Sweet Escape the cabin was perfect for us. There was one issue when we arrived the cabin had not been cleaned from the previous guest mind you this was Wednesday late afternoon before Thanksgiving. We contacted Rudi the owner and he was on top of it we had some shopping to do so we left for a couple hours and came back to a freshly cleaned cabin. So thanks Rudi for taking care of this so quickly plus allowing us to visit you cabin we look forward to going back soon.

This cabin now has top ratings in our eyes! The pictures do not do it justice. It is just beautiful! Everything in the description is accurate. The location was great...secluded....but yet civilization close by. Very clean with beautiful furnishings. Screened in porch was one of our favorite places...loved the sunsets. We love the Blue Ridge area and now we love Sweet Escape.....we will definitely be return guests.

Honestly, we were a little unsure of what to expect based on the cheap rental rates. It just seemed too good to be true. Upon arrival we were blown away. The cabin was incredible. Not only was the cabin itself beautiful, the view was great, and the area was so peaceful. The cabin came with every amenity we could have ever needed and more. My family is rather large (7) and the cabin had plenty of space for all of us to stay comfortably and enjoy our weekend vacation. I highly recommend Rudi's cabin for anyone visiting the Blue Ridge area. Thanks again Rudi!!

We have been going to Blue Ridge for about 6 years running. We love the area and Rudi's cabin was an exceptional value. We normally pay much higher rates for the same amenities. Rudi went over and beyond in taking care of us. The game I wanted to watch was not available in the area and he made sure I was able to watch it at the cabin. Very quiet area but not isolated. We will be going back.

FABULOUS GETAWAY!!!

My husband and I stayed at this awesome property last week for 3 nights. The beautiful views, very well equipped home and kitchen, comfortable beds, made for a very comfortable and relaxing getaway. The sunsets, from the hot tub were absolutely fabulous. The hot tub is on a large private screened deck! There is also a nice outdoor dining area on the porch. The house is in a very private area, but other homes on mountain kept us from feeling totally desolate. Visiting Mercier's Orchard Store is a must. We actually went back a second time..Fried pies were worth the trip..They also have the best scuppunong sparkling juice I have ever had.. We ate FRESH fried rainbow trout at the Toccoa Riverside Restaurant...DELICIOUS! We visited Bucks Meats in Blueridge and left with the best tenderloin ends to make bobs on the grill...got veggis at Ingalls...WOW were they melt in your mouth good... The owner Rudi, was great in answering all questions and rental details. We hope to go back and take our grown children. Thanks Rudi!!!

This cabin is beautiful, the pictures do not even do it justice. It is in a great location, with a great view, fabulous screened porches, beautiful landscape and the inside is gorgeous and clean with a nice mountainous theme. We have stayed here several times now and plan to keep coming back! It truly is a "Sweet Escape" and Rudi (the Owner) is extremely nice and helpful. I could not ask for a better place to get away from it all but still close enough to all the fun and activities Blue Ridge has to offer. Highly Recommended!
