This traditional ranch-style bungalow was recently updated with plenty of charm. With bamboo flooring throughout and beautifully plastered walls this bungalow creates a comfortable atmosphere for relaxation. A perfect blend of Palm Springs nostalgia and cottage chic with contemporary décor was professionally created for a relaxing and fun environment. The galley kitchen features wood-crafted cabinets, complimentary stone counters, and stainless steel appliances to entice any gourmet cook to create culinary art. The kitchen opens onto a cozy dining nook and includes French door access to the outdoor patio grilling and al fresco dining.
The living space is airy and provides warmth and ambiance with a traditional fireplace and comfortable seating to enjoy the modern amenities such as the large flat screen TV with DVD and CD player.
The sleeping quarters at opposite ends of the living space is perfect for two couples to share giving each room intimacy. The master bedroom has luxurious appointments in a cottage chic décor and includes an ensuite bathroom with a double vanity. The guest bedroom is equally charming. Both bedrooms include LCD TV’s with DVD players and Ipod dock.
This bungalow’s charm really begins in the front of the home with a kidney shaped pool and spa to enjoy the breathtaking mountain views. There is a hammock under the trees for lounging, reading, or sleeping. Guest can also enjoy the traditional porch along the home sitting in the bistro table for morning coffee or a glass of wine. The home is in a prime neighborhood on a quiet residential street sheltered from the north winds. Two blocks away is Ruth Hardy Park amidst the original estate homes of the historic Movie Colony, and near the Desert Regional Medical Center. The park features plenty of mature trees and open grass fields with a playground for children, beach volleyball, basketball court, and tennis courts with night lighting. This is a great neighborhood for morning walks, enjoying the many architectural styles of homes from mid-century, modern, to Spanish revival. Night life, great restaurants, spas, shopping, and golf courses are just minutes away.

Ruth Hardy park is a wonderful neighborhood, which is safe and filled with many wonderful homes. It has a large park with tennis courts and other recreation. It is also close to downtown, and in walking distance.
The Unique Benefits at this House
The home was fully remodeled in February of 2009, with all new kitchen and bathrooms. This property has a large pool and spa, with phenomenal south and west views. There is a hammock for relaxing, sleeping and reading, as well as large palm and olive trees for lounging under, and provide the perfect setting for much needed R & R. The house is cozy, well designed and well appointed. The outdoor dining area is right off the kitchen, with seating for 6. You are only a few blocks from Ruth Hardy Park, where there are tennis courts and other activities available. Being in central Palm Springs means you can be anywhere in town, in a few minutes. Shopping, restaurants, grocery, and all types of other activities are just a few minutes away.

After many years of renting in PS, we decided to try a home rental from Acme. They quickly responded to initial e-mails with accurate information. Pre-check-in information was quick and easy, and home was as described. Check out and deposit refund were also prompt. Acme staff are first-class and we will rent from them again!

We had such a nice week at your home. We enjoyed the privacy of the fenced yard and having a pool was the best! Epecially for the weather. We enjoyed walking the dogs to nearby Ruth Hardy park in the mornings and evenings. The pool and yard were well kept and we were very comfortable. Thank you!

Excellent rental! Private pool and jacuzzi! Quiet neighborhood. House is split floor plan which provides privacy for renters. 5 minutes away from downtown Palm Springs. Excellent rental company and reasonably priced.

house wasexellent and had everything that as listed,any problems we had have now been sorted. pool cleaned regular. the management needs to buck their ideas up but all in all good value for the money spent

My friends and spent a long weekend in Palm Springs and fell in love with the property. The house has a luxury feel, with an amazing price point in a central location. You will never want to leave the pool and hot tub.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Myself and family including boys 8 and 10 have just returned from California including a week staying at this property. It is very clean and has beautiful furnishings and fittings. We made great use of the pool and bbq and would recommend it to anyone.
