  A beautiful place to stay and explore Dubrovnik and the surrounding area. The villa has all of the mod cons you would expect, and more! Irena was a wonderful host. Highly recommended!

  Me and my family have just returned from an absolutely amazing holiday at Villa Moretic. The location in Zaton bay is fantastic: beautiful views, nice and quiet but still not far away from the city of Dubrovnik. The supermarket is very close and there are a few good restaurants within walking distance. We were eight persons, so the villa with four bedrooms was perfect for our needs. The outdoor kitchen and dining place (with spa pool) was wonderful! The pool terrace was also amazing: nice sunbeds, own peace and quiet and even a sea view! The only thing slightly negative about the villa is that there isn't a livingroom inside big enough for eight persons. But since the weather was rather good, we could sit outside instead. The owners were also fantastic. They did not disturb, but they were there every time you needed. They gave advice about what to see and do and arranged transport service when needed. Perfect customer service! We stayed a week. Two days we visited Dubrovnik and one day we took a trip to Ston, Peljesac and Korcula. Fantastic views! All in all we were all very satisfied with our family holiday in Zaton and villa Dubrovnik. We really recommend it, especially if you prefer to stay in a place where you can relax in peace and quiet.   We travelled to Villa Moretti end of April a group of four mates, with three of us arriving on the 7th, and the remaining party member arriving early on the 8th. Upon arrival, the owner meet us, showed us around and was most helpful! We were provided with fresh fruit, and introduced with a brief history of the area and the house - we were most impressed.....spesually pool terrase with nice view and Spa pool area. Throughout the stay the owner and his family could not have been more helpful; additionaly, Irena who helped us organised the stay was fantastic, and helped us arrange a hire large car for one daily trip to Montenegro, allowing trips to Old Town, trip to Island from Zaton. The villa was situated in an nice location, 8 of Km from dubrovnik, providing the serenity one expects with a villa, whilst having supermarket within walking distance,also near is bus station and restaurant. I really cannot sing enough praise about this house, the owners Irena & Pero the Zaton area, and the local Croatian people. We were made at home everywhere we went, were not 'fleeced' by anyone, the food was exceptionally good and very reasonably priced - benefits which we thought would have been eroded as Croatia has become more frequented by tourists.This really is the place to stay - Dubrovnik is a day/evening trip city, and we found Zaton much more relaxed and civilised. We will be back! We loved Zaton, the Moreti family, the Villa and Croatia as a whole. Thank you!

  Our group of 8 people stayed at this stone villa for 7 days. The house is really amazing, exactly as it was described to us. It has a very cozy courtyard/garden, clean,great heated Spa pool and spacious rooms and is perfectly view on sea. Sitting on the balcony in the warm morning sunshine eating breakfast and absorbing the spectacular view of the Zaton bay. If you aren't so keen on cooking for yourself then there are any number of good restaurants within a few minutes walk. Owner of villa are very helpful and help us for daily trip to Montengero and Mljet Island. The city of Dubrovnik is only a 10 minutes drive away and is quite breathtaking. It is worth noting too that the Dubrovnik airport was possibly the easiest entry and exit point I have seen anywhere.

  We decided to get married in Dubrovnik and hired the whole of Villa Morettie for our family and a couple of friends. It was truly lovely, the help and support we received from the villa manager (Irena) was fantastic. The week began with a boat trip organised by Irena which was wonderful, the food on board was delicious and the sights around the islands off the coast was stunning. We had our wedding a couple of days later with the ceremony held in the Old Town and then back to the Villa for a drinks reception by the pool and a four course dinner held on the villas stunning upper terrace. This was all arranged by Irena and I can honestly say the food and service was impeccable. With the sun setting in the distance as we ate our meal it really was a beautiful venue. So many of our guests have praised the food and venue and we have been told countless times it was the best wedding they have ever been to! I could not recommend this villa highly enough, it was a great spot for a family holiday with excellent facilities and the support from Irena really made our week a wonderful experience! It is clean, comfortable, easily accessible for the Old Town and the views are just outstanding. Irena was an excellent support for the whole week, arranging taxis, restaurant bookings, and the wedding meal. I hope in the future to go back many times and our guests all felt the same way! Highly, highly recommended!

  I recently had the great pleasure of staying at Villa Moretti for a few days to explore the Dalmation Coast and Dubrovnik area. Each of the 3 self contained apartments in the villa are exceptionally well fitted out with comfortable beds and well appointed kitchens. Sitting on the balcony in the warm morning sunshine eating breakfast and absorbing the spectacular view of the Zaton bay was worth the trip alone. If you aren't so keen on cooking for yourself then there are any number of good restaurants within a few minutes drive. The city of Dubrovnik is only a few minutes drive away and is quite breathtaking.

  Our group of 5 kids and 5 adults been in Jun 2012 in a cozy and modern stone house with a view on the sea. Arranged absolutely everything that could offer us ???????.????? hospitable, kind and cheerful people. Irena is an amazing woman literally guess our desires, a kind word and a smile made us happy! he kitchen was all right, we prepared ourselves from the products of the local supermarket, which is situated 50 metres from the villa. And in the evening we had dinner in the city. Use of public transport (which is very cheap) and in walking distance stop in the city of Dubrovnik. The owner of the villa met and saw off us at the airport that the us very much it was pleasant! Glad to get acquainted with such a great place and the people! Thanks !!! DOROTEA, Moscow, RUSSIA

  This was our first visit to Croatia and we thank our lucky stars we booked to stay at Villa Moretic. The hosts were very friendly, and helpful, they collected us from the airport, offered us lifts into Dubrovnik and booked tickets for our excursions. The villa are comfortable for 10 person and clean and our view of the bay from the 'Rose' room balcony was super. There is an outdoor cooking area with Jacuzzi and a brick built BBQ, a seating area and an area for relaxation. Zaton is peaceful and picturesque, the sea is crystal clear, safe for swimming and the food in the local restaurant was excellent. Local transport runs on time both by bus and ferry boat and the prices are reasonable. There are plenty of excursions available if you like sight seeing and Dubrovnik Old City has a charm all of its own. Zaton is 7km from Dubrovnik, close enough to visit easily but far enough away to escape the tourism hussle and bussle. An ideal location with excellent hosts Irene & Pero, great rooms and super views made our holiday 'Perfect', we would definately visit again and would recommend Villa Moretic as a place to stay.

  Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.
