This cottage sits 12 feet from the water's edge in a quiet and private setting. Duck Puddle Pond is a small lake (250 acres) good for fishing and swimming. There are no other cottage rentals on our side of the lake, and the view across the lake is pristine Maine woods; there are only two well hidden cottages on the other side.
There is a one-room cabin near the cottage that is never rented and is rarely occupied by the owners (they have no water or septic). Other than that there is no one nearby. The location is quiet and ideal for walking, bicycling and nature walks. Wild foul is abundant, and the fishing is good. A small fishing boat is provided.
