  we have spent 8 days at the condo and I have to say that the place is perfect. Wonderful location, beautiful interior decoration and very attentive owners. I would definitely go back.

  Ralph & Judy, We so enjoyed our stay in your home these past weeks. This is one of the most exceptional and enjoyable home we have visited anywhere in the world, clearly the result of its superb amenities and your personal charm. It is so well stocked (a well equipped kitchen, extra towels & bedding and has a host of little touches that are lacking in most rental homes, but really needed for stays longer than a week. There was nothing we needed that you had not anticipated. The view from the balcony, and being there during the Hard Rock Boat Parade was a highlight. We would also recommend the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, directly across the river. (The symphony we attended was wonderful) and the Bonnett House, a little piece of Florida history, was just a short drive from the condominium. Also visited twice the wonderful Cheese Cake Factory restaurant on Las Olas Blvd. (also in walking distance and loved it)! Most important, Ralph & Judy, you are a delight to deal with; extremely welcoming, helpful and well organized (we are often amazed at how often this is not the case with rentals). Our thanks to you for your hospitality. By the way, I sent a few of your stamped, customized postcards to friends, so thanks also for that lovely touch. Best to you both. - Toronto, Canada

  Dear Ralph & Judy, We were very pleased with all aspects of our stay in your condo. It was extremely comfortable, well appointed and of course the view was splendid. Your initial orientation was very helpful in getting us oriented to the location and was very thoughtful of you. The amenities exceeded our expectations. The staff was courteous a professional.   Ralph and Judy, What a pleasure to stay here! (Been to a lot) one of the best. Hubby and I really enjoyed the view on balcony... of course with tails in hand. Everywhere we looked there were more things that made us feel at home. The welcome frame (with our names) was great! Can't find that at any resort. We will stay in touch.

  Dear Ralph and Judy, We are truly amazed with this beautiful condo. It has everything, it is so complete! Only you did not have a spare bicycle tire :-)! We enjoyed our stay from the beginning. You even got us to buying new sofa's, of course with reclining seats like yours. Everyday we could do something totally different. We did a lot of biking, we know Fort Lauderdale much better now. The kids had a great time. They loved their big TV screen! The pool was lovely. Yesterday we all enjoyed the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Katherine. Today our daughter has her 10th birthday, so we all are in a very happy mood. In a few days our holiday comes to an end. It is hard to leave a place where we all had such a good time. Hopefully, one day, we will come back and will have again a great time. We thank you both for all the effort you put to make a stay for all our guests so enjoyable. I pays back to everyone who leaves a nice note in your guestbook. Hopefully till the next time.

  Judy and Ralph I was a pleasure to meet you both, and stay in your great condo. We usually stay in Naples, but I think we are coming back to Fort Lauderdale.(more action, great food, and I think better beaches). Your condo is great, you think of everything. I believe that if Ralph had not been an engineer, he would have been an excellent upscale hotel manager – his attention to detail is remarkable.(pens-postcards-stamps-food-coffee-beach chairs-etc.) We spent the Month of March, the weather was great, and we were even able to see the fireworks celebrating the 100 years of Fort Lauderdale from the balcony. There is noise from the downtown nightclubs, late at night, but you get used to it, and the location, view, and building amenities far outweigh this distraction. Hope to see you again. Lauderdale has started to come down hard on those nightclubs that allow late night noise to be heard outside of their property. The restaurants and nightclubs with their afternoon and evening sidewalk dining add a nice character and vibrancy to the area but now don't disturb the area later on in the evening. The best of both worlds - and one of the advantages of staying in the heart of the City. Where else can you sit on your balcony and watch the city celebrate its 100th year anniversary.

  Ralph and Judy, We could not have enjoyed our stay more. New Year's Eve on your balcony was incredible as we watched the fireworks being shot off from atop the Performing Acts Center at midnight as well as seeing fireworks across the city. We also watched the ball drop in front of the IMAX Theater at midnight. Your condo is so warm and comfortable and complete in every detail. We wanted for nothing. Your hospitality and attention to detail and making our stay unforgettable was above and beyond! Thank you for everything and we will definitely be back. Kindest regards.

  We truly enjoyed our stay at your condo. It had everything we could possibly have needed and more. It was a very comfortably furnished condo with a fully stocked kitchen and endless TV channels and Wi-Fi. The view was to die for and the kids loved watching all the boating activity. You were extremely easy to get in touch with and a pleasure getting to know. We would love to stay again.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

  Owner response: 179 TV channel to be exact with 14 premium channels with HBO and STARZ - but who is counting. Have a Merry Christmas and come back soon. - Ralph and Judy

  Had a nice week here - great location close to restaurants, shops, etc. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pan, utensils etc. We prepared many of our Thanksgiving dishes here.

  Your lovely home was so comfortable, so well equipped - with a view that drew us to the balcony all through our stay. This is a place that reflects owners who truly care about their home meeting your very need. Convenient to everything, by boat, car and walking.   Ralph and Judy, Thank you for letting us stay here. We have loved every second of the 10 days we have rented your wonderful condo. We have been here for a short time, but we have travelled a lot and hope we can come back another time. We have been in Key West, all around in Ft. Lauderdale, and even visited some friends of ours in Port St. Luce. Every day in the US have been great and this has been one of the best vacations ever. (Wrote in our guest book.)

The Giants swept the 2 game series with the Marlins and enjoying our post game recap while enjoying the view from your balcony was truly special. It turned out to be another 3 days in paradise! I apologize if you are Marlin fans but the Giants normally get beat up when they come to Florida. We enjoyed the Jungle Queen and ate at both the Downtowner and Pirate Republic. Thanks you for the recommendations. Please know that the staff here is very friendly and treat your guests like family.P.S. I plan to come back in 2012 to see the Marlin's new stadium.

  Whenever we work, as travel writers around the world there is one thing that frequently blights our enjoyment and that is finding accommodation that we can afford to pay for and more importantly meets our high standards. We are sure that we are not alone in our desire to avoid noisy and sometimes dirty rooms in hotels chains. They are uncomfortable, have expensive and poorly served breakfasts and supplement their already substantial profit by charging huge sums to guests for the use the internet. When we travel we like to live as local do, in comfort, with the necessities of life that make being and working away from home that little bit more bearable. A good, well equipped kitchen, washing machines, a place to work and other home comforts help ease the stress of being away on the road. What do you think? For many years we have suffered poor accommodation in Fort Lauderdale at boat show time, made worse by the knowing the price has just gone up because the event is in town. So, it is wonderfully refreshing to be able to report on, and even recommend, a great self-catering apartment in downtown Fort Lauderdale that is fully equipped, and while not cheap is excellent. The penthouse suite on the 17th floor is a two bedroom apartment located over looking the New River, with spectacular views of down town and the water in the heart of Fort Lauderdale. The main bedroom has a huge bed, walk in wardrobe and bathroom with tub and separate shower. The second bedroom is laid out as a study with printer, wifi, sofa bed and its own bathroom. The large living room includes a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and drier and a dinning room table that is perfect for working at. Walk across the bridge to the Broward Center for Performing Arts and all that Las Olas Boulevard has to offer or catch the water taxi over to the beach or along the water ways so you get to see the houses belonging to millionaires who park their super yachts at the foot of their gardens! The apartment block has its own covered secure parking, a sauna, fitness centre, pool surrounded by BBQs for use by guests and even a 24 hour lobby attendant.

  Great place to stay, splendid views over the river and downtown area. Very well equipped, and close enough to walk or cycle safely to Publix. Ideally placed for Los Olas restaurants and easy to get around by river taxi and water taxi (recommend Charley's Crab at end of water taxi route).

Over the years we have frequently suffered by staying in poor accommodation. So, it is wonderfully refreshing to be able to report on, and even recommend, a great self catering apartment in downtown Fort Lauderdale that is not only fully equipped, but is at the same time, not outrageously expensive. Now, before we tell you how great and fully equipped it is, let us make this abundantly clear that it is not available during next years show because we have booked it already but for brokers, captains yacht managers and would be purchasers of super yachts this place has our recommendation. The penthouse suite on the 17th floor is a two bedroom apartment located over looking the New River with spectacular views of down town and the water in the heart of Fort Lauderdale. This unit whose second bedroom is laid out as a study with its own WiFi, features stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, wood floors, and an over-sized balcony. It has an excellent location.   I stayed here for 2 weeks while in town with FIDDLER ON THE ROOF. A co-worker and I (both management) shared this fantastic 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment. It couldn't have been better equipped! The beautiful balcony on the top floor of the building provided gorgeous views and a lovely breeze. The kitchen had every appliance necessary and quite few extras. Ralph and Judy were so welcoming and pointed out some local restaurants to try. I'll definitely come back if given the chance!

  We have rented this apartment for the last three winters (January, February, March) and plan to rent it again this winter. The Apartment itself is beautiful, the view spectacular, and everything we have needed has been there or has been supplied by the owner. From the balcony, we can see both up and down the river. Last year, we were able to watch the migration of the manatees, a very impressive sight. The building is quiet, with a full gym, a pool, a sauna and jacuzzi.

  My stay in the Penthouse was outstanding. I am a Fort lauderdale local and was having work done on my home and needed a place to stay for a week while the construction got under way. This place was perfect. Close to downtown, shopping, highways, etc. They are a sweet couple and very accommodating - I would definitely recommend to family and friends.

  We have just stayed in this appartment for two weeks and we have had the best time. Everything was great. Perfectly clean, excellent location. There was nothing we have missed. This will be our all time favorite vacation home and we hope to return very soon.

  My fiance and I stayed here for a week. June 20-28 It is a GREAT place. Very CLEAN!! And SO CONVENIENT. They have everything there that you need to be comfortable. A fully appointed kitchen with every appliance. Wireless internet connection, printer, huge TVs. They keep the place stocked with all the amenities. You don't have to worry about running out of soap or shampoo, because they have a backup supply. Plus, Ralph & Judy are really sweet and accommodating. We HIGHLY recommend this place if you like your vacations to be relaxed, hassle free, clean, comfortable and if you like to cook.

  Great place to use as a base to explore Fort Lauderdale & the surrounding area. Fantastic to have supper out on the balcony. You can watch the world go bye below you, from boats to people. One could say that the apartment block is the “wrong side of the river”, but with a bridge either side and water taxis at your disposal access to the theatre, restaurants, river walk and Las Olas are less than five minutes away.(the better view out ways the walk). We had a great time and if your lucky enough to be able to find a space in the diary then book, you wont be disappointed. Thanks again Ralph & Judy ,keep up the good work, the girls and I will be back !!!

  My husband and I love this condo. I feel so welcomed every time we stay there, that it feels like home and I look forward to staying there again next time. The view on the balcony is fantastic, the condo is spacious and well set-up, the beach is close by, the grocery store is within walking distance - it's a super place to stay. A home away from home!

  Dear Ralph and Judy, Thank you very much! We were here for 2.5 months. We studied English in language school very hard! Your penthouse was in this time like home! It is beautiful place, very comfortable, convienient and with fantastic view! I was honored to live in this beautiful place two and half month, and I really enjoyed it. You have very nice TV in kitchen.

  Dear Ralph & Judy, Thanks you so much for renting us this AMAZING place while we are here with The Lion King. We have had a fantastic time... we just wish we could stay loner. The balcony is amazing, the Jacuzzi tub luxurious, and the TV in the kitchen... well, that was my husband's favorite part :-) If we ever come back to Ft. Lauderdale for an extended stay, we will be sure to contact you. You guys have been a pleasure to do business with. Sincerely, Maria & Mo & family P.S.   Hey, Ralph & Judy What a great location, this is! The view from the balcony is absolutely wonderful! I took photos at different times of the day & night & I'm delighted with the images. The staff is so friendly and made us feel so very welcome - it was truly a pleasure being here a month. We're going to miss it! But we'll be back! Thanks for everything!!! P.S. The manatees come by today on our last day to say goodbye! There were 5 of them - how sweet. What a send-off! - Tanya and John
