We offer you a vacation getaway in the sky – a 2 bedroom, 2 bath luxury condo at the very top of the Esplanade, right on the New River, in exciting Downtown Ft. Lauderdale.
DOWNTOWN ON THE NEW RIVER – means you are there. Not having to get into your car to “get there”, not “only a mile (or two, or three) to THERE”, but actually being THERE. We have 35 restaurants, night clubs, play houses, historic center, and art museums all within a quarter mile from us – that’s 2 blocks. They are all just an easy short walk away. Or you can take one of our bikes for a pleasant 5 or 10 minute ride to any of them. Walk to the Water Taxi stop just down the street and go anywhere on the New River and Intercoastal Waterway. Eat at one of the nearby restaurants on the river (the Pirates Republic Saloon & Restaurant is a block away). Suggestion: Plan your vacation to take in one of the first-run Broadway productions offered at the Broward Performing Arts Center.
LUXURY CONDO – is like staying in a fancy resort but without the resort prices and small rooms. It is NOT some rental house buried in a residential neighborhood miles from where you want to be. FULLY EQUIPPED – means a 50”, a 40' and 32' HDTVs in the living room and bedrooms (plus even a under-counter TV in the kitchen. Comcast cable service with 275 channels with over 100 in HD including 19 sports channels. Plus FREE Netflix, Hulu Plus and Streamplx streaming services with thousands of movies and recent TV show to watch. Streaming services allow you to watch shows and movies when you want and not be tied to the cable company's schedule. The second bedroom is smaller (128 sq. feet) and is set up as a den/office/bedroom with a desk complete with high speed wireless internet service, free unlimited telephone calling anywhere in the US and Canada, and a printer/scanner/copy machine - an arrangement that makes an ideal business office. The room also has a 40 inch HD plasma TV. The bed is a sofa bed with a 2 inch foam topper and a upgraded mattress. Note: January, February and March are rented by the month with a discounted rate of $240 a night (a 20% savings), also we have a "last minute" special discount of 25% that is in affect all year long if you book with a starting date 30 days or less out. A great way to get away at the last minute and save money.
The cancellation policy is that during the Winter/Holiday season of December 1st to April 14th, you can cancel up to 60 days before your arrival with a $300 cancellation fee. During the rest of the year, April 15th to November 30th, you can cancel up to 30 days before your arrival with a $150 cancellation fee. What that means is if you cancel before the 30 or 60 day point, all monies you have deposited would be returned as a credit card refund less the $150 or $300 cancellation fee. If you cancelled within the 30 or 60 days before your arrival date then all monies deposited would be forfeited, but you would not be liable for any payments not yet made.

If you are not familiar with the Downtown area of Fort Lauderdale, it is the fastest growing, most vibrant part of the City. A number of years ago the City Commission decided to re-develop the downtown area as an arts, entertainment and residential living area. A number of studies were done and a master plan developed. The first phase was the building of the “Riverwalk Park” along the north bank of the New River (the main river that runs through the downtown area and has some of the most expensive homes in the City). The Riverwalk Park allows you to walk the river (or ride one of our bikes) and enjoy the activities. The west end of the Park (where we are) starts at the cultural center of Broward County with the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, and going east passes the Museum of Discovery and IMAX Theater, the Old Ft. Why the Owner Chose Downtown: After retiring from Motorola after 40 years as an engineer in their Research Department we wanted to buy a place we could go to getaway. We fell in love with the Esplanade Condo as the perfect hideaway. It is only 30 minutes from our home in Coral Springs but a 'world away'.
