1st Floor Classic -- What a wonderful time I had! Weather was perfect and the place was everything I had hope for. Enjoyed spending time with my daughters who stayed in the next door apartment. 1st Floor Executive -- We really enjoyed our stay here. The view is incredible & private. The swing & the hot tub are the best things about it! Our walks to the flag and back became habit & were so relaxing. Thanks for the lovely place! Walked on the beach, got in the ocean (a little!), enjoyed their hot tub, and bonded with my girls! Many fantastic memories!! Thanks! Loved the pretty sunrises!!

2nd Floor Executive - We loved our stay at Melbourne Beach House for the week and were most comfortable in your beautiful home. Every morning we had coffee sitting on the two chairs facing the ocean and enjoyed the magnificent sunrise. Something we will always treasure. Jennifer welcomed us warmly and met our needs. This beautiful and secluded property is a gem. If you want to experience the shore in a natural setting, then this is your locaiton. The property is well maintained and the owners are very nice. We would consider returning for another visit.

A Special Place

1st Floor Executive -- Where do I begin? The moment we walked through the front door & were greeted by the blue heron & the Welcome To The Beach sign, we knew that we were in a special place. Your attention to detail is amazing ~ from the white notebook of instructions & suggestions to the lovely furnishings & exquisite art work. Joe's favorite - the woodpeckers in the hallway. And I fell in love with the bewildered owl in the library nook. We browsed some of the books & particularly enjoyed Journal of Light: The Visual Diary of a Florida Nature Photographer by John Moran. We watched several sporting events on the great TV - the Jets beating the Chargers & then losing a week later to the Colts, & the U.S. Women's Figure Skating finals & Australian Open. Joe got what he proclaimed is his "best haircut in years" at Bob's Barber Shop (1104 Atlantic St.), we did our wash at the laundromat right around the bend, mailed post cards at the Post Office & checked our e-mail at the public library. Both Sunday mornings we enjoyed leisurely breakfasts at the Surfin' Turtle (8 am-Noon) in the Publix Shopping Center. On Wednesdays, Margaritas are 99 cents when you order from the El Cheapo menu at Cantina Dos Amigos in Indialantic. The New England Eatery & Pub, on the right a few miles south, serves great seafood & ice cold draft beer. Service is good & the price is right. We spent hours sitting on our swing overlooking our private beach, watching pelicans soaring & sea gulls dive-bombing into the ocean for fish. Don't know what they're called (sandpipers maybe?), but we really liked the funny little birds with the long, skinny legs that scurried so quickly & effortlessly along the shoreline. And the hot tub! So relaxing & fun to look up at night & see the stars. But what we'll cherish most of all -- our pleasant memories of our stay here in such a beautiful setting. We felt very much at home here -- and for that we say "Thank You".

2'nd Floor Classic - Had a wonderful time here, Going for long walks at first light, looking for turtles and watching the beautiful sunrises. Loved watching the pelicans skimming the water -- and above all the unspoiled almost empty beaches. The apartment has stunning views and it's just perfect lying in bed listening to the waves at night or sitting on the deck in the afternoon watching them roll in. Thank you George and Juanita for making us feel so much at home. We enjoyed the chats. Look forward to seeing the 'mature' gardens next time. Maybe next time we can stay longer too!

1'st Floor Executive-We found your place to be one of the cleanest, nicest places we have ever rented. The pictures on your website were great, but they don’t do the Beach House the justice of seeing it in person. We were both honestly in awe when we first walked in. We’ve said to each other many times since our visit that had we known how beautiful it was, we would have skipped the 1st week of our vacation and spent our full 2 weeks there instead. We’ve recommended it to several of our friends.

1'st Floor Executive - What a beautiful home! We loved our time here and can't wait to return next year. The beach was fantastic for long walks, sitting to watch the waves and soaking up the sun. We were thrilled with how quiet & private the beach was -- some days we only saw 10-15 people go by all day. The swing and hot tub were special touches we really enjoyed. The extra luxuries you have added with the marble floors, beautiful granite and tile made us think we were in a four star hotel. Mark loved having another computer geek (George) to talk to. Your recommendations for dinner were great. Thank you for your hospitality!

2'nd Floor Classic. Well as always escaping our frantic pace in life leaves us refreshed and saddened in some ways. Must return to the world and responsibility, yet know that this is the way things roll in most of our lives. I plan to return to Florida every 6 months to scout different areas to live, keeps the spirit fresh. Melbourne Beach House is a relaxing escape from the tourist areas in Florida. 1'st Floor Executive. What a wonderful place to help celebrate 40 years of marriage! I'm so happy we found Melbourne Beach House + George + Juanita. The 1'st Floor Exec. Suite is gorgeous. From the beautiful marble floors and granite counter tops to the leather furniture; all of it spells luxury. Walking out the doors to the hot tub was one of Skip's favorite evening activities. Waking to the sun and siting on the beach was a treat for 2 New Englanders! Our last day here ended perfectly with 80 degree temp. and sun all day. We hate to leave but hope we will be lucky enough to return again very soon. George and Juanita you have done a fantastic job with your beach house apartments. Best of heath to both of you

1'st Floor Executive - This is our third visit to the Melbourne Beach House and found it to be the best yet -- what a transformation. You have masterfully repaired & improved this lovely place -- our accommodations during our previous visits were lovely -- but we were delightfully surprised to turn in the drive late on the evening of the 5'th to see the beautiful landscaping and the well appointed interior. Entering the suite we were truly impressed. The view is magnificent -- the privacy wonderful. I love to cook & having such a well equipped & designed kitchen was a dream. The tile, the granite the furniture are tasteful and create a comfortable & causal atmosphere. The water bed proved to be a little too low for our retiring 60 bodies but the terrific hot tub proved to be the perfect & romantic cure. All in all our visit was wonderful. The suite was wonderful and we will return.

1'st Floor Classic If you're looking for a charming, quaint, cozy and totally efficient place to stay -- this is the place for you. It has all the amenities of home, plus a fantastic view, and the ocean at the back door. We so enjoyed our time here -- from sun worshiping on the beach, to walks on the beach as well as to the store; it was such a relaxing atmosphere! We couldn't ask for anything better! 2nd Floor Classic We booked the beach house for our 20'th wedding anniversary. What a perfect spot to celebrate a romantic get-away! I had brought books but didn't read a page. We just sat on the porch [deck] all evening even though it was dark at 6 P.M. ... we just sat and absorbed the peaceful setting. We didn't have one meal out ... we could not be parted from the house. I cooked every night and we ate on the deck. A glass of wine or bubbly, just idyllic. We will always remember this holiday. We were in bed by 9:30 and up early, unheard of for us ... we were so relaxed. Thank you, thank you ...

2nd Floor Classic A nice retreat for a grandmother. Visited the little ones by day then sent them home in Melbourne by night. Sleeping space and kitchen are larger than most local weekly rentals. Can't beat the location to chill out.

Then seeing dolphins, lizards, a snake, skunk, crabs (one came up to the house to say hello) has been amazing. The house is perfect, everything is where you need it to be. We will definitely be back! 1st Floor Executive -- July We just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed staying at your beautiful home this past week. We certainly hated to leave this morning. The view, the apartment, and the privacy were absolutely amazing. We travel at least 5-6 weeks each year, and I have to say this past week is by far our best ever. (Including our wedding/honeymoon at a Sandals Resort) We only left the house a couple of times to go to Publix and the seafood market. We watched a sea turtle lay her eggs and return to the water, we saw four porpoises, three manatees, the space shuttle, and a BOBCAT. Not many people can say they've seen a bobcat on the beach!! (It actually walked right in front of us while we were sitting in the swing.) We certainly do have a lot to "brag" about to our family and friends. Thank you so much for sharing your "piece of paradise" with us. We enjoyed our stay!

2nd Floor Classic --September What a perfect place. Our family came & stayed in 3 of the 4 apartments. So fun to have us all together. My sister got married right on the beach & it was perfect. The apartments are beautiful & make you feel at home. The beach is so secluded & peaceful & any locals we encountered were beyond helpful & kind. We were blessed to see many of mother nature's creations during our stay including a newly hatched turtle making its way to the water during my sister's wedding. What a sign! At one point we were in the water w/ a stingray. Amazing stuff. We will certainly come back as the price is so reasonable for everything it has to offer! Additionally, Juanita was here for our stay & she was so kind hearted and helpful...(we locked ourselves out once). A thousand thanks & blessings to Juanita, George & Jennifer. 1st Floor Classic -- July As always, we enjoyed our visit to Melbourne. I think most of the enjoyment comes from being able to stay at your beach house. Neither of us likes crowded beaches or a hotel atmosphere. Thanks again for allowing us to stay there. Maybe next time we're there, you will be, too. Colorado must really be something to entice you away from Melbourne. We're already looking forward to the next time we can come down. The only change I would like for you to make is to take the water bed out of the downstairs executive apartment. We really loved that apartment best except for that. I guess that shows we're getting old and really don't want to admit it!

Owner response:You would be pleased to know that a traditional mattress will be placed in the first floor executive apartment beginning January 1, 2010.
