Situated just off the shoreline of serene Bald Mountain Lake is the lovely “Cottage Walk on Bald Mountain Lake”. This charming and spacious cottage is adjacent to the larger “Bald Mountain Lake Lodge”, and is a perfect companion when two homes are necessary for much larger groups. It’s located in the Rumbling Bald Resort and has full use of resort amenities.
“Cottage Walk…” is a 4 bedroom, 2-½ bath cottage, a spacious covered deck overlooking the lake, and a gracious family room. The Master Bedroom is located on the main level and accommodates a King Bed, private bath with double vanity and a large double shower. The ample kitchen is fully equipped and the dining table sits in a bay window offering pretty views of the lake where you can watch your family swim, or watch the geese and arrary of ducks that cruise the lake. The living area is sunken and offers a beautiful old stone fireplace as its centerpiece. The sofa converts to a bed for additional sleeping. Just off the kitchen is a half bath, and a laundry room. From the living room, steps lead to the lower level family room which features ample seating to view the TV, as well as a game table. The large section converts to sleeping. One full bath with a tub/shower combination is located just off the family room as are the three guest bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen bed; one has a set of twins, and the other has a king bed. Just off this lower level is a covered patio which leads directly to the waterfront with outdoor picnic table and a large dock for sunning, swimming or fishing. There is a canoe for your use on the lake. Don’t forget that all the amenities of the resort are available for your use, which include pools, a private beach on Lake Lure, tennis, golf and many other recreation amenities. “Cottage Walk” is about a 5 minute drive from the private amenities at the resort. **June through August - Home is available only for weekly rentals** |

The Unique Benefits of this Home
Our favorite thing about this home is that compared to other lakehomes, the grounds leading to the lake are fairly level. We enjoy watching the geese and wood ducks and mallards. Our family especially enjoys swimming from the dock, and the canoe. I enjoy my coffee in the mornings on the dock and sometimes I will take a book with me and in the afternoons and catch up on my reading. We grill out under the covered deck just off the kitchen which makes it nice in case we get showers. We love the privacy this home offers, but we also like the fact that it's less than a 5 minute drive to the restaurant, the marina and all the amenities of the resort.
