Located in Phase I "park district" of Watercolor this, "Beach walk" home was featured in the Nov. 2001 Coastal Living Magazine. Here is a quote on how they describe the home:
"In the tower room, (located on the third floor) French doors open to decks. Four walls of windows allow panoramic views of Watercolor and Seaside's rooftops. In one direction you can watch the sunset on Western Lake.
After climbing the staircase to the second floor, family and friends can gather under the 12 foot ceiling and mingle in the vast space comprising the kitchen, dining, and living areas. Porches wrap two sides of the great bright room, extending the living and entertaining space. One porch is enclosed by screens, the other is open to the beach air.
The living and dining areas are decorated in bright cheerful colors, ocean inspired artwork further enhances the cheerful decorating.
The pass through kitchen displays all the essential and many luxuries desired by beach cottage chefs.
The master bedroom exudes familial warmth included in the master bedroom is a sitting area for story-time or family movies. The bath off the master bedroom is outfitted like a personal spa. Amenities include an oval whirlpool tub featuring sleek chrome faucets, a separate shower stall and dual sinks with mirrored oak cabinets.
Perhaps the most intriguing bedroom is on the second floor. Upon entering guests look up to its 20 foot vaulted ceiling. The windows trimmed in white appear to floor like clouds against the wispy blue walls. Twin beds are dressed in spirited red-and-white stripes and quilts. There is a large en-suite bathroom for this bedroom.
The word to describe the third bedroom, serenity. The bronzy mental bed finished to look like bamboo. The bamboo motif carries through the design of the room. An en-suite bathroom adds to the quiet serenity of this retreat"
Each bedroom has it's own television. High def TV's are in the master and 2nd floor bedrooms. There is also a DVD player in the Serenity room and the Master bedroom.
The house faces the park, so your children can go out the front door of the house without crossing a street to get to the park.
Even better you can keep your eye on them while sipping a well deserved cocktail on the porch. We have found this park so great for our kids, it is a meeting place for youngsters and there is always some fun games going on.
