Our home is a two story condo in beautiful Malibu West, overlooking Trancas Canyon. This is the first time that it is for rent. Wake up in the morning to the sun rising on the adjacent mountains.
Malibu West is a community just 4 blocks from the ocean. We have our own private beach club, pool and tennis court. Zuma Beach is on the left and Broad Beach on the right of our club. Zuma offers a 3 mile boardwalk and surfing. At Broad Beach, you can explore the tidal pools collect shells and observe all kinds of sea life.
The main floor of the home has a kitchen, 1/2 bath, dining area and living room. Off the dining area is a fence enclosed patio with a grill. Off the living room is a open patio. Both outdoor spaces use sliding glass doors for access.
Upstairs is a master bedroom with a king sized bed and a large master bath which includes a steam shower, a Jacuzzi bath and granite counters. It also has a balcony with two chairs which is wonderful for sitting and reading and and appreciating the wonderful canyon view.
The second bedroom, which is small, has a high riser bed that gives you two twin beds. This room also has a large bath with a big shower and granite counters.
This home has been completely redone with top of the line appliances such as a Sub-Zero and is in excellent condition. The living room floor level has tile floors and the bedroom level has wood floors.
Between our home and the beach is a shopping area featuring a supermarket, a Starbucks, Postal Annex and a nursery. Downtown Malibu is about 15 minutes away and features famous restaurants and shopping.
Malibu is a great jumping off point for day trips around southern California. The Santa Ynez wine country, the Paso Robles wine country, Santa Barbara, Disneyland are all interesting possibilities.
Spending the summer here is glorious but so is anytime in the winter.
