Located on the outskirts of historical downtown Sitka, we invite you to come and stay in our four bedroom, 3 bath, private, secluded beach front home. Fully furnished, with hot tub and equipped to accommodate up to nine guests, we invite you to come and join us to explore our wonderful seaside community.
In Sitka you will have the opportunity to observe wild life such as humpback whales, sea otters, bears, eagles and so much more. We are rich in Russian and Native culture. The scenery here is spectacular with snow capped mountains, rich blue ocean waters and lush green forests surrounding our small community.
Large, open living areas with walls of windows and glass doors on both sides let you spread out and take in the awesome views, or relax in front of the fireplace and enjoy a warm fire and a good book or movie after a day of discovering Sitka. Step out to a huge wrap-around deck, where you will find plenty of space and privacy for taking in panoramic views, ocean sounds, and for viewing spectacular sunsets over the ocean or under the glistening evening stars.
Sit down to dine in elegance as you gaze through the walls of picture windows which look out across the beautiful blue ocean and all the surprising wildlife that the Sitka Sound has to offer. Our kitchen is completely stocked with kitchen utensils, cooking equipment, dishwasher, and microwave. Our vacation home is provided on a self-catering basis.
While visiting Sitka be sure to stroll thru our gardens, visit with our friendly locals, hike in our back country, check-out our local museums, walk thru our parks, (especially Totem Park), check out the number of eagles at the Raptor Center, attend the Sitka Summer Fest, drive out to see the bears in the Bear Fortress or paddle out to a nearby island and spend the afternoon beachcombing, clamming or crabbing. If you prefer to do a little salmon fishing why not charter or rent a boat and spend the day fishing in our pristine ocean. If you enjoy golfing, check out our newly completed golf course located several minutes from here.
However, you might decide to spend your vacation just be sure to end your day by simply relaxing and enjoying yourself, your family and friends amongst some of most fantastic scenery in the world right here at Alaska Seaside.
