  We are an older couple that likes to travel. We visit Panama City beach in early October when the weather is not too hot. The rates during this time are the lowest of all the tourist season. Location, cleanliness, and comfort played a great role in our choice. The Tidewater condominium satisfied it all, thanks to Emerald Coast Destinations. Our condo was spacious and neat, comfortable and tranquil. The view from the 3rd floor was breath-taking! What we specifically liked about the condo was that it was a non-smoking one, with a large flat-screen tv and a large kitchen area. We and our friends play golf so it was an additional plus that our condo was located within a couple miles to a golf course. One more great thing about this place - it is a gated community with a 24/7 security on site. Talk about peace of mind

  Good location, some dining places near by and walking distance to Pier Park. We have stayed here in end of October and resort was pretty much empty. I guess we were in off season time, but for me it was awesome time. No wait on elevators and pools are not crowded. Our unit was spotless, very clean. Master bathroom is huge,walking closet. Beds are pretty comfy. I really like the style of the unit, luxury. Did enjoyed stay at Tidewater and would recommend to all.

  We rent from Emerald Coast Destinations every time when we vacation in Panama City Beach, they manage lots of condos in Tidewater and in other properties. This one is one of my favorites, wery warm welcoming room, floors sparkle. Located in 3rd floor, so we don`t really have to deal with the elevetors like others did. Nice unit, clean and fresh. Decorations are so beautiful. My daughter just loves that big brown elephant decoration in hallway. I always tell my friends to rent from this guys.

  Tidewater Beach Resort was a nice resort. The view was awesome!! All rooms face the gulf. Beautiful sunsets.Furnitures are beautiful in this room, feels like home. The resort itself is pretty basic. They have an indoor heated pool and 2 indoor hot tubs which is nice in colder months. Elevators are fast. Parking garage was a bonus. An all around good resort for the money. We rented our condo on vrbo.com which I would highly recommend.

  Arrived on Saturday, nice condo. Needs some upkeep, slats missing from balcony blinds, crack in ceiling in master br, tv remote will not change channels for tv in master br. A/C not working when we arrived. Thought maid may have just turned it on and condo needed time to cool. Thermostat set at 73, temp near 80. Called Monday , tech got cold air going that evening for the next two days then same problem again. Fan blowing from vents but not cool. Temp back up to 79. No luck getting in touch with Emerald Coast Dest. since we left Saturday. Other than being uncomfortably warm in the room at night, this unit had plenty of room and even a massage chair/ recliner in the master bedroom. Although, I would like a later checkout time (9am) especially when they ask that you strip all beds , load of towels washed and dried load of sheets started in washer, wipe off all counter surfaces, sweep and mop as needed, lightly wipe toilets with toilet brush, lightly wipe off sinks, tub shower walls, mirrors and glass, run vacuum sweeper as needed, load and run dishwasher and take out trash. I'm not much of a morning person when I am on vacation so just getting my bags packed and in the car (without forgetting something) by 9am is somewhat of a chore. Having said all that, if the a/c worked properly we would stay here again and recommend it to a friend.

  Owner response: The A/C Unit works just fine in the condo. There was a programmable thermostat in the unit. The guests prior to these guests checking in had changed it in such a manner that the A/C would not come on no matter where the temperature was set. It was easy to accidentally make that mistake and the guests who wrote this review did the very same thing after our maintenace man had fixed the problem. To correct the problem we replaced the thermostat with one that could not be programmed. We have a Maintenance & Housekeeping number provided for our guests to call when there is an issue such as A/C unit not working. We answer that number during our regular business hours and/or ask our guests to leave a message if we are busy and it is not answered or is outside of those hours. If a message is left we return the call to address the problem. We monitor messages for emergency calls outside of business hours and respond as soon as the message is received. There were no messages left concerning the unit not working after we had reset the thermostat so we do not know why they could not have reached us? The guests had switched the TV remote controls from one room to another. The remotes all look alike (thanks to the Comcast Xfinity Digital "Upgrade") but each remote is programmed for each specific TV. The remotes worked fine when they were re positioned with the correct TVs. We ask our guests to be mindful of the fact that if they leave a condo reasonably tidy at check out, it will help assure that housekeepers’ will be able to have the condo ready on time for the next guests checking in.

  My husband and I have scheduled our tenth trip to Tidewater Beach. This is one of our favorite condos! It is beautiful and extremely comfortable. We love renting through Bob. He is extemely helpful in helping us secure the correct condo for our family. We always choose to rent through VRBO....Tidewater.... and BOB!
