"Wow! What a view!" will likely be your first words upon stepping into this beautiful third floor, oceanfront, two-bedroom villa in the gated community of Palmetto Dunes on Hilton Head Island. During your stay you'll enjoy your morning coffee and a direct, unobstructed view of the ocean and the wide beach from the balcony off the living room. Still accepting bookings for all of 2011 but do not hesitate as bookings are coming quickly.
Ready for the day? Play in the surf or in the big, oceanfront, seasonally-heated pool right on the Captain's Walk property. Let your little ones splash in the kiddie pool. Build sand castles on the beach. Sun on the large poolside deck. Bike or walk for miles on the beach or the bike paths. Golf at one of three championship courses in Palmetto Dunes or choose from dozens of other courses on or just off island. Play tennis on one of the Palmetto Dunes courts. Visit nearby Savannah and Beaufort for wonderful historic tours.
The villa's kitchen is fully equipped for eating in, but for dining out you will be able to choose from an abundance of great restaurants on Hilton Head. When you're ready to call it a day, you'll be lulled to sleep by the sound of the surf.
The spacious master bedroom is furnished in Henry Link wicker. There's a king-size bed, TV and VCR and a private bath with separate dressing area. The second bedroom is newly furnished in pine. There are twin beds and a full bath for this bedroom, too, of course. There's a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room where you'll also find a large-screen TV with PIP, VCR, DVD player, stereo system with three disk CD, tape player, and radio. The handsome glass and wicker dining room table seats six. Pets are not allowed. And NO SMOKING in the villa, please.
This is not just another rental unit. In prior years it was occupied and cared for from mid-October through early April by the owners themselves. As we have bought a new home, the villa is now available year round for your enjoyment.

Year Purchased: 1992
We first came to Hilton Head in the late 1960's. When we found ourselves coming back frequently, we decided in 1992 to buy this property and to eventually move here, which we did in 2005 after spending winters here since 1993. We hope you will enjoy the villa as much as we have over the years.

We stayed for a week in July with our 4 children and were delighted. The view was spectacular. The unit was spacious, clean and fully stocked - kitchen towels, CLEAN kitchen utensils and appliances, bath towels, bed linens, board games. The convenience of a W/D was wonderful and we enjoyed the DVD player and flat screen. We had neighbors on both sides of us but could not hear anyone. The pool was clean and the beach was fabulous and only steps away. Additionally, the owners left recommendations for activities and dining that were very helpful.
