Just imagine...a beach haven located in a gated, beachfront community. What could be better than waking up to the ocean breeze, salt air, and warm sunshine? This beach haven is located just minutes from the breaking waves.
This beach house is a very nice, beautifully furnished get-a-way with all of your conveniences of home. There are 2 bedrooms which can comfortably sleep six. The master bedroom has a queen bed and a private bath. The 2nd bedroom has 2 double beds. The kitchen is equipped with all you need, including pots, pans, utensils, toaster, and coffee maker. Just bring your towels and linens...and relax.
Oceanside Village features an indoor pool, outdoor pool, tennis courts, fitness center, community center, beautiful lakes for fishing, childrens playground, softball field, basketball court, shuffle board court, horseshoe pits, and private parking for the beach. Be at the beach in minutes, either on the golf cart (included with the rental of our home) or by foot (5 minutes).
Other entertainment in the area include golf, live shows, night clubs, amusement park, and shopping. There are over 100 golf courses to choose from in the Myrtle Beach area.
We require you be at least 21 years of age to rent. There is a reasonable security deposit of $200 which is refundable after departure. Payment in full is required 2 weeks prior to arrival. What a wonderful place to stay! The owners called to check on us after we arrived to make sure everything ok. We especially liked it because we were allowed to bring our family pet with us. It was clean and very well maintained. Margie, the owner, was very nice and they returned our deposit promptly. The rental included a golf cart that we used to travel the short distance to the beach. I would recommend this rental to my friends, in fact I already have! My family will definitely be calling again. Thanks so much Bud and Margie!

This house was very clean and well-maintained. It has plenty of room for a family of 4-6. I think that the best ammenity was having the golf cart. It was great for driving to the beach and around the complex to the 2 pools. The owner Margie was great! She promptly returned our security deposit and called to check to make sure we were o.k after we checked in. We will definitely be back the next time we come to Myrtle Beach! I will recommend this place to my friends!

Bud and Margie's place was a perfect fit for us! We traveled with 2 children and we couldnt have asked for a better, more reasonable place to stay! Oceanside Village is a gated community, close to EVERYTHING!! The golf cart included into the price saved us ALOT of money! We drove it back and forth to the beach and we loved using it to go to the ponds to fish! The beach is a 3 minute drive on the golf cart with private parking for Oceanside Villagers! Margie even called us on our first night there to make sure everything was up to par in their place! Central AC is a must and this place had it, and so refreshing to come into to escape that humidity! We cooked out on the grill, and just couldnt have left more happier! I recommend this place for anyone traveling with families, that are looking for a "home away from home"..Thanks Again Bud and Margie for the southern hospitality!

This was our first time staying at Oceanside Village, but it won’t be our last. We had a wonderful time at this home and are planning to return next year. It’s peaceful and quiet, a much needed get away from the everyday hustle and bustle of life. This home is very clean, well maintained, beautifully decorated, comfortable, and has everything you need including a large grill on the deck for grilling. It even has a golf cart which our daughter loved to take rides on and it provides easy transportation to the beach, softball field and pools. The bedrooms were larger than we had anticipated and would have easily accommodated six as advertised. Often times it’s hard to find a true pet friendly facility. We wanted the comforts of home for our entire family and that included “Oreo”. Most places don’t offer that. So, if you’re looking for a nice home that allows pets, this is the place. And you couldn’t ask for any nicer people to rent from. The Whelchel’s take pride in their home and it shows. They called us to ensure everything was clean and to ask if we needed anything and not to hesitate to call if a problem arose. We would highly recommend this home for couples or small families. Our only regret was we didn’t reserve for two weeks instead of the one!

A friend of mine and myself had the opportunity of spending some time at this really nice and beautiful home located at Oceanside Village. The location of this beach house is not far from the ocean. The owners supplied a golf cart for our enjoyment to the beach as well as riding around the village to see some of other homes and beautiful landscaping. The owner was very helpful in answering any questions we had. The beach house was very clean and beautifully decorated with new appliances. The property was very clean and maintained. If you are looking for a really nice and comfortable place to stay at the beach, I recommend this pretty beach house.

We had a wonderful time at this vacation rental. There are so many things close to occupy your time. We loved the close access by golf cart to the beach, the in-door and the out-door pool. The house was very neat and clean and had everything we needed to make wonderful grilled meals at the house. We will most definitely consider this location for future vacations to the Myrtle Beach area.

I would highly recommend choosing this property for a relaxing beach getaway. The house is beautifully decorated with everything you could want or need. There is a wonderful large grill on a large deck for grilling out after a fun and relaxing day at the beach. There are plenty of pots, pans and dishes for cooking. The golf cart was handy to transport our three kids, beach chairs and umbrellas back and forth to the beach which is less than five minutes away by golfcart or on foot. The kids loved watching the ducks and geese on the many ponds on the property. Overall wonderful getaway - only wish it were longer!

This property is very nice. The home is beautifully decorated, very cozy, and has everything you need. The property was very clean and well maintained. The beach was only a block away with private parking for ocean side village. A golf cart was available for rides to the beach, pools, playground, and other facilities. We enjoyed sitting on the patio and grilling out for supper. It is a very quiet and peaceful location. I would recommend this property to a friend or relative.

We had a wonderful week at Oceanside Village. The house was so clean and decorated beautifully. It is even nicer than the pictures. We had 2 ten year old girls and they loved their bedroom and having their own bathroom. Mr. and Mrs. Whelchel were so nice and helpful. I would highly recommend this home for couples or small families. We all loved having the golf cart! It made getting to the beach so easy and convenient. This was our first time staying in Oceanside Village and we will definitely go again next summer. We were so impressed! Our only regret was that we had only 1 week!

This was our third time staying at Oceanside Village and we can finally say we found a home away from home that we would return to. There are four in our family and we have stayed at bigger houses or ones that were closer to the beach, but nothing has compared to the cleanliness and comfort of this home. We could have had two more people in our party and had plenty of room for them. The kitchen had nice appliances and was fully stocked with silverware, pots, pans, and dishes for our use. There was a T.V. in the living room as well as in each bedroom, which is a plus when you have children. The golfcart was a much appreciated asset as well- I think it cost around $300 to rent one from the office at OSV- so we were grateful to have it to use durirg our stay.The grill was something my husband was really glad to be able to use. Mr. & Mrs. Whelchel were super nice and went above and beyond for us, calling to make sure everything was clean when we arrived and to see if we needed anything and how or what they could do to make the rental nicer. If you are looking for nice, clean, quiet, cute home away from home this is the place to stay.
