Owner Description
Jack and Marcy Rowan are retired and live year round in Topinabee. Jack used to play professional football for the Green Bay Packers and spent the last 10 years of his retirement as Head Football coach for Inland Lake High School in Indian River.
He was instrumental in building a new Athletic Facility for the High School all through private donations. Marcy is retired from a career in Bank Marketing and has spent her retirement years buying and rennovating vacation homes. The stone house and cabins represent her 17th project.
Why the Owner Chose Mullett Lake
Marcy is always looking for unique old properties. The stone house represents the look of the early 30's and the cabins offer an "out door camping" feel with the comforts of indoor plumbing and heating. Many of her projects have been featured in local and national magazines.
The Unique Benefits of this House
This is the first summer that this property has been rented. It is also available for purchase.
The owners are minutes away and are readily available to offer assistance. Renters like that it is located in a small resort community. You can walk to the library, Topinabee Museum, local shops, restaurants and beach. They also appreciate that they are not in a heavily trafficed tourist area and find the locals very friendly!
