Great location, home and decor. Everything needed for a comfortable & enjoyable stay is furnished in the kitchen and baths. Really nice bathrooms too! Wonderful deck with colorful bar chairs for fun time enjoying outdoors. We had a long family weekend with single people and couples with children. Everyone had a ball!! Would definitely return. Also like the garage where could store a boat or car and corner lot with double driveways for parking.

Great House for a Group Vacation!
Great House for a Group Vacation!
The house was everything a large group could hope for. Upon arrival the house was spotless and the AC was set to a very comfortable temp. The rooms were very nicely decorated and the beds were comfortable. The showers were great and came with shampoo and conditioner etc. which was nice as well. The living area adjoining the open fully stocked kitchen and bar with stools was airy and easy for a large group to visit in. We had 13 family members. There was plenty of room and I never heard one complaint. Kimber (the owner) called to let us know she would be there if we needed anything but since she did such a great job of stocking everything all we had to do was enjoy and we certainly did. The pool was two houses down and the beach was a stone's throw further. Restaurants and entertainment were a golf cart drive away. Speaking of . . . The owners even offer a great rate on golf carts if you choose to have one (they're everywhere) for your stay. Obviously we enjoyed the house and would love to stay there again if we are in Port Aransas.

Staying in Port A since 1960's
Staying in Port A since 1960's
Description of home was accurate with the exception of the new appliances. Great access to beach, pool and hot tub. Outdoor shower was nice. Everything was clean on arrival with the exception of the area around the stove. Plenty of room for all 12 of us and the actual beds were comfortable. Sleeper chairs were in disrepair and missing a number of springs so we had to just put the mattresses on the floor. Not enough linens for sleeper chairs or air mattress found in loft. Don't plan on sleeping late if barking dogs bother you. They start barking about 5:30 - 6 am daily. Kitchen was workable although freezer door does not open completely due to construction of cabinetry making it difficult to access anything in the freezer. Ice maker overflows and freezes ice into one big lump. Gas stove was a plus but don't plan on cooking muffins because there are no pans for that nor are there any griddles for pancakes. Frying pans are well used not-stick versions with the non-stick peeling off. If you plan to cook you will need to bring all the spices you'll need as there was only a small picnic size salt and pepper shaker on hand. Door to third level deck did not open so we paid for a deck/view that we had no access to. Five lights out in kitchen, three out on lower level, several in baths. Normally I would have replaced these lamps but all were too high to reach. Notified owner of door not working and lamps being out and was told someone would be by to address both. We were there for five more days and neither ever happened. Stackable washer-dryer unit was able to handle full loads well. Soap and dryer sheets were supplied. It is located on the lower level which was very dark without any working lights in hall and lower stairs. Nice size garage as we were able to get the boat completely inside which helped since there is no parking allowed on the street. Lots of stairs inside and out. There are no handrails on any interior stairs. Definitely not for elderly or those for which climbing would be an issue. All in all we had a nice time and we did not let the items noted above diminish our trip. I've stayed all over Port A for many years and for the price I have to admit I was disappointed. I won't mark this place off my list but it certainly won't be at or anywhere near the top.

Long weekend stay
Long weekend stay
Overall a very good experience. The home is much better decorated than others in Port A that we have rented or stayed as a guest. Beds were comfortable and lots of extra bedding and towels. We were disappointed there was no TV in the bunk bedroom and the one in the loft bedroom was unplugged and sitting in the walkway. Also, the living/dining area was a bit tight when our large group gathered to have drinks and watch TV. If you have a small group this would not be an issue. The houses in the neighborhood are close together and we had one sleepless night when a couple next door was arguing and then they allowed their dog to bark through the night.

We had a ladies weekend at the beach; about 11 or so of us. We had a wonderful time! What we loved was the proximity to the beach, the adorable well-kept house, the super comfy-couch and the fully stocked kitchen. The only thing that was a challenge seemed to be getting the downstairs to be cool. We found the owners extremely kind and helpful in getting us booked. I will plan another weekend there if the need arises!

Amazing Family Vacation
Amazing Family Vacation
I LOVE THIS HOUSE! We stayed here 3 nights with our adult kids and grandkids and had such a great vacation. The house is beautifully decorated and has lots of room. The beds were all comfy(the loft window sleepers are bigger than they look in the pics). We had plenty of parking for our 5 cars and the golf cart the owners got us a great deal on. The kitchen was well furnished, the grill was nice to have, the showers are huge, plus there's an outdoor shower to rinse off after being at the beach. The deck, with the awesome beach chairs, is great for hanging out in the mornings/evenings. The house is close to the beach. The pool and hot tub are very nice. I wouldn't recommend to someone who has trouble with stairs as it's 3 stories and the main house is on the second floor so you do a lot of climbing stairs but otherwise, it's awesome and I can't wait to go back next year.

Owner response: Thanks for the great review. Chad/Kimber
I just stayed there with 14 of my friends, and every body had the time of their lives. The beach is a short walk a way, pool and jacuzzi right around the corner and all the neighbors are great. We stayed for 3 nights and we became tight with all of them. The house is gorgeous and well kept. Recommend this place to anyone!

My husband, child and I were the very first renters in this beautiful beach home! We were very impressed, not only with the decor, ambiance and accessibility to the beach/pool/restaurant, but also with the comfort and "feel of home". We will definitely stay here again and will recommend it to our friends and family! Thank you!
