Set in its own private quiet secluded little garden, the cottage is a very simple, small vacation cottage situated in the much sought-after "urbanizacion" of Pla Del Mar......a stroll from the center of Moraira (pronounced mor-EYE-ra). Once a tiny fishing village, it is now an enclave of the cosmopolitan well-to-do, some homes being permanent others weekend and vacation homes, the owners being a broad mix of nationalities. The "village" sports a huge selection of restaurants of various tastes and price range, cafes and boutiques. A substantial yacht harbor and club is testimony to the affluent society that often populates Moraira . There are two beaches - one the town beach suitable for children and the other (El Portet) a horseshoe beach protected by high headlines with its own handful of cafes for snacks etc - both easy strolling distance from the cottage.
The cottage itself faces south with two twin-bedded sleeping rooms, a recently renovated 1.5 baths (shower only, no tub). A cozy little sitting room leads into the galley kitchen with a butane gas stove, electric fridge and small clothes washer. In front of the cottage is a pleasant covered porch where one would take most meals or cocktails looking toward the attractive low range of mountains in the distance. There is also a very private rooftop patio excellent for sunbathing and for clothes drying.
Situated equidistant from Alicante to the south and Valencia to the north (both one hours drive approximately on the A7 motorway) - it is a perfect location from which to explore the beautiful coastal towns. A Rental car is not essential but suggested.
