This 2 bedroom, 2 bath, lower level 1/2 duplex is located on the West side of the island on 11th Street. It has direct access to both the ocean and bay at Vaca Cut. Private entrance and parking area for up to (2) vehicles.
This home offers dockage for up to a 30' boat and secure boat trailer parking in the City lot for $50 week. Fish cleaning table with water, electric and a bait freezer.
Impact glass sliding doors from the living room and master bedroom that open out to the custom POOL with waterfall spa and real marble paver decking. Enjoy the time basking in the sun or fishing off the dock.
Completely brand new construction in 2009, this home offers the finest of everything. Decorated in tropical keys style. King Size bed in the master and two twins in the guest room. Large wrap around leather section sofa in the living room also has a sleeper sofa.
Tile floors, stainless appliances, granite kitchen, marble bath rooms with vessel sinks and custom built showers. No details were overlooked. Even separate A/C remote controls for each room for individual comfort.

You will have exclusive, private use of the custom designed, heated pool overlooking the 75' of water front. Surrounded with real marble pavers for a beautiful deck area to lay in the sun. Pool area has outdoor furniture, lounge chairs and dining table w/ umbrella for your enjoyment.
The home is fully stocked with kitchenware, dishes, linens, towels.
There are (2) bar stools at the granite eat-at-bar in the kitchen and a bistro table and chair set for 2 as well. Outdoor dining table is also available next to the gas grill area.
A perfect place to spend the week or month. Very nice, safe area for families. Bike path around the entire island. We even have our own police department and post office on the island.
There are 3 restaurants/bars all within walking distance. 3 par golf course, tennis and playground just 3 streets away. Charter fishing trips, boat rentals and dive trips leave from the Causeway daily.
People return to the Key Colony Beach area year after year to enjoy our friendly, vacation area.

It is virtually impossible to describe how excellent this house was for a vacation rental. My husband, daughter and I travel to the keys every spring. In the last few years, we discovered the rental homes on KCB. This home is by far the best we have stayed in to date. The inside of the house is fantastic with comfortable furnishings and is well set up for a family. The stone shower floor was great and the vessel sinks are a nice touch! But the best part was without a doubt the outside. The private pool and hot tub were incredible and landscaping was simply beautiful. Even though you are on a canal the houses are close together, when you sit outside in the privacy of the palms with the sounds of the waterfall from the pool, you feel like you have your own private oasis. Nothing short of amazing! Without a doubt the best reasonably priced rental in KCB!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful vacation home. JoAnn and Cliff have done an excellent job creating this getaway. The photos do a great job of showing the appearance of the home. It was very well taken care of, and we really enjoyed our stay. The nearby restaurants were also alot of fun. We went on a charter deep sea fishing excursion and caught tons of fish. We would highly recommend this property and hope to return in the future. Castaways is an excellent restaurant that we enjoyed dinner at, and we would also recommend this to future guests.

Jo Ann and Cliff provided us with the most spectacular and romantic getaway that the two of us ever had. Not only was the house everything that was promised in the VRBO listing - it was much more than that. We fell in love all over again sitting outside in the evening while sitting on the couch, as the dim lighting provided a romantic setting - and as we took a boat out for an evening sunset. The days were filled with never ending smiles on on our faces as we enjoyed every bit of the house, the waters, the neighborhood of Key Colony, and the great location on 11th Street. One other very important thing to mention is that whenever we vacation, we like to look at houses and see what the values are where we are staying. We found out that Jo Ann is the number 1 realtor in the Keys with the highest amount of sales, so she was very helpful answering all our questions. The next time the two of us are looking to rekindle our love we are going to call Cliff and Jo Ann and reserve their place again.

If ocean front exposure is not an imperative and this price fits your budget, you will be hard pressed to do better than this unit. Difficult to present negatives; I did have a daily fight with the shower curtain hooks!. The pool is , by actual measurement, 4 steps outside of the living room's sliding glass doors, quite private due to very nice landscaping and well furnished. Owner is a realtor and it shows as the unit is nicely decorated and has much appreciated touches which others might not think about. The owner is responsive to needs without being intrusive. Finally, the neighborhood includes multiple quality resturants, low traffic and relative safety. Overall, an excellent experience... sunrises overlooking the canal and pool will be long remembered.

My husband and I have just returned from a 2 week stay at this property (June 3rd to 16th 2010). The accommodation was wonderful!! Comfortable, spotlessly clean and equipped with everything that you would need for your stay was available. There are 3 bars that are within reasonable walking distance and if you want to dine out for something really special the Key Colony Inn (which is the closest bar/restaurant) serve lovely food. There are plenty of larger stores(Publix, Winn Dixie and K Mart) in close proximity so buying food etc was easy. Would really like to thank Jo Ann and Cliff for their hospitality and for the game of golf!! Would definitely recommend this property to anyone for a truly relaxing away from it all break.
