Situated across the street from the Intracoastal Waterway and the ocean beyond, Colony II is a bucolic two minute drive from the #1 rated beach in North Carolina—Sunset Beach.
Once over the charming and historic swing bridge, this family-friendly beach offers free public parking, handicap ramp, gazebo, shower for rinsing off the sand, fishing pier, kayak and bike rentals, and bathrooms.
An uncommon coastal island, this small barrier island is blessed with a naturally wide, gently sloping white sand beach bordered by undisturbed sand dunes. This pristine setting is a natural habitat and nesting ground for coastal wildlife including loggerhead sea turtles and the illusive Sunset Beach goats.
Not to be missed, of course, are the beautiful sunsets that give the island its name!
There are over a dozen championship golf courses within 5 miles of our condo, and hundreds more within 20 miles as all of the Myrtle Beach-area courses are within an easy drive. Additionally, Myrtle Beach provides virtually any recreational activity that you can think of including: miniature golf, shows, restaurants, shopping, boating, jet skiing, and amusement parks.
Our professionally decorated and freshly renovated two-bedroom/two-bath condo is the ideal home base for an enjoyable vacation. Our end-unit condo is on the top floor of a three-story building with a wrap-around covered porch and views of the common area.
For your comfort, there are two queen beds in each spacious bedroom, as well as a convertible sofa bed with a queen-size air mattress. There is a television with DVD player in the living room, as well as TVs in both bedrooms.
All TVs have cable and there is also free Internet access. Both bedrooms and the living room have ceiling fans.
The kitchen is fully-equipped and well-stocked and includes a brand new dishwasher, microwave, full-sized refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, ice maker and disposal. The kitchen is open to the living room with two bar stools to enjoy a casual meal or morning coffee.
The second bedroom is really a mini-suite since it has a kitchenette with a small refrigerator, a microwave and a coffee maker. Additionally, the second bedroom has a large jetted spa tub in addition to a shower stall with seat. A washing machine and dryer are also included in the unit.
This “NO SMOKING” and “NO PETS” unit is very clean and tastefully decorated. Kitchen, baths and front hall have ceramic tile flooring, and the bedrooms, living and dining rooms are carpeted.
The Colony II complex has every amenity for your vacation needs. A heated indoor pool, whirlpool tub, fitness room and outdoor pool are only for the owners and tenants in Colony II and steps away from our unit. There are also BBQ grills and picnic tables in the common areas for your use.
We provide bed linens and bath towels, hair dyers and a small ironing board and iron.
We invite you to share our home at the beach…and enjoy everything this area has to offer!
Rental is Saturday to Saturday with check-in at 3:00 pm and check-out at 10:00 am.
Cleaning fee is $50 for the week.
Reservation Fee: Half of the rent, plus 13% tax, $50 cleaning fee, a $100 refundable security deposit and a signed contract is due at the time of reservation. The remaining half of the rental amount is due 30 days prior to arrival. If reservation is made less than 30 days prior to arrival date, then the full amount is due at time of reservation.
Cancellations made more than 60 days prior to arrival date will result in a 10% fee of the full rental amount. Cancellations made less than 60 days prior to arrival date will result in loss of reservation fee.
The security deposit (plus tax) is fully refundable providing no damage or missing items.

Year Purchased: 2005
We are Carri and Mike Bojara and we both grew up in Rochester, NY, but longed to get closer to the ocean. In 1999 we had the opportunity to move to the Raleigh/Durham area of North Carolina and we have never looked back! Living in the Triangle affords us great access to the beaches of North and South Carolina and we have visited most of them. Self-described beach bums, we have found the best at Sunset Beach and are happy to share it with you and your family.
Why the Owner Chose Sunset Beach
We have been coming to Sunset Beach since 1998 and just love the family- and golfer- friendly atmosphere. This is the perfect quiet coast that is adjacent to all of the activities in Myrtle Beach. We have been to beaches around the world and find Sunset Beach to be one of the best.

Thank you for the opportunity to spend four wonderful days here! You had a beautiful and comfortable place. We were really lucky with the weather and equally enjoyed the beach and pool. And on one cloudy day we visited the Silver Coast Winery and tasted some local wine there. So we are taking back home a lot of great memories of this land, not only because of its natural beauty, but also because of its kind and hospitable people. Thank you!

We've stayed at this fine place a couple of times and have really enjoyed it. Only a couple of days this time...We played a littl golf at the 3-pars, played tennis, used the workout room here, and of course went to Sunset Beach. We went to The Grapevine and The Boundary House and that ice cream place that is always packed but always good. Anyway, thank you.

You really have a great place! We come from Otterburn Park, Quebec, near Montreal! We came here for the beach and we were well served. The waves were fun and the temperature was the hotest you had this summer. All the family enjoyed it!
