New to the rental market, this cozy 2 bed/2 bath villa was lovingly cared for by the previous owners. Our family is enjoying our new retreat by the ocean and we want to share it with you.
The first floor unit is just steps away from the pool and only a 6-7 minute stroll to the beach. If you have lots of gear, public beach parking is less than a mile away.
Hilton Head is perfect for those who want an active beach vacation with plenty of bike trails, tennis courts, golf courses, wildlife viewing opportunities, and shopping centers. For those who prefer to lounge by the pool or on the beautiful beach with a good book Hilton Head is perfect for that too!
Delicious restaurants are plentiful in all price ranges and styles of cuisine. If you prefer to eat-in, the fully appointed kitchen provides all you need to cook your favorite comfort foods. You can even prepare fresh seafood using the charcoal grill on your patio.
Enjoy evenings in or the occasional rainy day watching over 100 cable channels, surfing the Internet on your laptop, playing a friendly game of cards, or catching up with friends and family over a cool drink.

Why the Owner Chose Island House
Nice things about staying in the Forest Beach area include walking to great restaurants and shopping centers as well as exploring the island by bike. A community beach is a 6-7 minute walk away and the pool is right outside the door.

We stayed in your villa for 2 weeks in February, 2010, and it was everything as described in your VRBO listing, plus more. Being on the first floor, it was very convenient for bringing our dog in and out. Once we figured out the short cut, the BiLo grocery store was only 1 block away. And everything from churches, to restaurants, to the beach were so convenient. No need to drive the car, just hop on the bicycles we rented, and you're there. And the villa itself had everything we needed, it's decorated very smartly, and very clean. My husband especially enjoyed the convenience of the WiFi. We've stayed in Sea Pines several times, but you can't beat Island House for price and location. We will definitely consider staying here again in the future!

I absolutely loved my stay at the condo last summer. It was so close to the beach which was great. I enjoyed long walks on the beach first thing in the morning, then returning to the beach again after breakfast. The condo was great; clean and fully stocked with everything you would need to make it a comfortable visit. It is close to anything you would want or need; restaurants, shops, the beach, pool,and other sights. Many things being within walking or biking distance. Looking forward to returning this coming summer.

I stayed in the condo in June 2009 and it was a wonderful experience. The condo was very clean, nicely decorated, and in a perfect location. We rode bikes to the beach, to lunch, and exploring the island (so to say everything is close, is an understatement). The beds were comfortable and there is a hammock right off of the deck, that makes for the perfect afternoon nap (I was there everyday). There was always parking and a friendly neighbor. HHI is amazing, but this condo made the experience even better.

We really enjoyed our stay at the condo. I am not sure what to say was the best feature because there were so many. We were only two blocks from the beach and three blocks from shopping, great restaurants and lots of activities. We rented bikes for the week and the best part was they delivered them and picked them up. It was wonderful to be in such a great location that we could ride bikes everywhere. I liked the fact that we had internet access and cable TV if we chose to use them. I have to admit I do not think we even turned on the TV once. The pool out back and the hammock were to tempting in the evening after spending the day at the beach. We had to be in Hilton Head for a week of wedding activities so I enjoyed being able to cook some meals in and eat some out. The fully stocked kitchen was great. It was not like some places I have stayed where there is one pot and one cookie sheet. This kitchen was fully stocked and I enjoyed being able to cook without being limited. I have to say we had everything we needed for a great vacation and can not wait to return.
